hi I’m ginger and welcome to a new episode of no stupid questions in quito to the fact or fiction [Music] today the elusive whoosh effect what is the whoosh effect have you heard about the whoosh effect first things first it’s not actually very extremely scientific in the sense that it hasn’t been studied as much but there is a theory behind the whoosh effect and here it goes basically when you’re losing fat relatively fast which is something that keto does for some people well when you do that your fat cells are hard to let go they are very hard to die some of them actually don’t die fat cells empty but never die at least not before the natural 7 year cycle but that’s another story for another time so what happens when we are losing weight the fat cells is giving out and out and out more of its fat and it’s like yeah but don’t worry something will come back soon so what it does it’s keeping the same size and shape by replenishing what it gave out a spat with water so most of the time we stay the same weight and that’s because the water is balancing out the fat we were losing so he stays the same on the number on the scale evil evil scale but actually we are losing fat we just are not showing it in numbers at some point finally the cell decides that oh no there’s no more fat coming I better close down and go and then that’s when he shuts down he puts out the dewater it squishes back could boom the at least the size of the fat cells it is reduced so you can’t see from your body that the fact it’s got on that and the NAM but it’s got as well on the scale because the water went out so the issue with the bush effect is actually water retention basically not in the same way that it has to do with carbs dough and here’s the point where I should mention you very rarely can elicit a whoosh voluntary some people think that having foods or drinks that require water to process namely kabsa and alcohol then you might ask your body for that water to be brought in and used to either store the glucose from the cart because every molecule of glycogen needs two or three molecules of water to actually be stored or with alcohol because it needs to be flushing it out because technically our body sees that poison those are never good ways because honestly the bad side effects that they bring probably hinder your weight loss more than a wish does at least keeping it stable so I do not recommend that at all so what happens how does the wash happen though right when can I expect the next one hang in there at some point some people say that they start noticing that their fat gets more squishy if you make sense that is the point where the cells are about our all full of water and are about to give out so keep doing what you’re doing you’re doing great the whoosh effect will come and one morning you will wake up step on the scale and the scale will tell you the bone you are 2 3 4 5 pounds lighter than you were the day before and that water is gone and do please drink water water is important I hope they shed some light on the elusive woosh effect if you have any question do not hesitate leave me a comment down here below I will find the answer for you if I don’t no way that I will come back to you if this video was useful at all to you please give it a like maybe consider subscribing and if you do subscribe bringing that because that way every time that one of my videos is out you will be notified and you can come and see me last but very much not least thank so very much to all of my patrons there are 39 of you now it’s inexplicable to me how 13 I strangers decided to believe in investing what I do and that means the world to me thank you so very much and if you want to join them and have your say about the research I do the recipes on keto 5 whatever I make on this channel well chance to do that is to doing the VAP circle the poles go out there so you can find link up here and not in the script shown below and if you decide to do so thank you so very much because that’s what supports this channel thank you so much for watching and I will see you tomorrow for a new keto recipe [Music] [Music] you
