what i eat in a day to lose weight / kimberley wilcox


hi guys and welcome to another what I eat in a day so today is going to be kind of the first day of like I wouldn’t say like my new diet but like I’ve changed things up the past couple weeks where I’m trying to do something a little bit more sustainable before I was trying to do keto to lose my weight as quick as possible basically but it wasn’t sticking I would eat so well during the week and then come to the weekend I would go out with my friends and drink alcohol I have time or something like that honestly I felt like I benched a lot more doing that sort of thing and with keto you’ve kind of got to be straight like you can’t half-ass it like you won’t see results and I was just kind of in this rut so basically now I’m just eating healthy eating foods that I want all that as me and eating a lot more fruit and veggies and kind of more like a whole food based diet I have also been eating a little bit of like bread and milk but I’ve been trying to track it and keep my calories under 1500 this is like the first week where I’ve tried to kind of make it stick the last couple weeks I haven’t done any filming on what I eat anything like that and mainly because I’ve really been off-track so I think Sunday I really got back on track and now I like six days and I’m pretty good I haven’t had any takeaway I haven’t bought my lunch once at work I’ve definitely been packing salads and kind of trying to save money but also trying to eat healthy and kind of just fill my body with good food so today I thought I would take you in kind of what I eat in a day doing this kind of like whole food based diet and all of the foods that are basically introducing back in my life because I’m so excited and I think that’s the thing like you’ve got to enjoy what you eat too because when you’re so strict you binge more and that’s what I did so I kind of just allow myself one cheat day a week and I just try and eat as much at home as possible and it kind of more the foods that I like I will weigh myself on Sunday so this coming Sunday I’m gonna start more like a weekly diary series of all my weight loss journey and I think I’m gonna do that other than making like daily vlogs of what I eat because kind of wanna have something to show that on my achievement basically and I think that will be harder to do and I guess the content might be eyes like precise because it may be all over the place but I feel like that will be so much better and its raw and you can see my struggles and you can kind of see what I do but yet today I just wanted to show you kind of what I’m eating on my new diet let’s get into breaking my electrolytes [Music] [Music] basically I was like I need a my breakfast before we can chat because I’m so hungry and once you start eating your de site this is the best thing ever so firstly I want to touch on my Apple what I’ve been making it a challenge is past week to like close all my rings and I have been like I’ve been really surprised at how much like when you kind of put your mind towards something you can achieve it a lot more and I’ve been going for walks and everything like that I know it’s only walking but it’s still something I’m getting my body moving I think next week I’m gonna start introducing like kind of more workouts or anything like that but yet I’m going to touch on my food diary so I have like this like health journal thing and that I got from came up sometimes when you’re making food it’s a little bit harder to track it and show you a on MyFitnessPal because he needs traffic like the grams and I’ve been trying to weight everything so I kind of understand my proportion size getting back on track and everything like that so what I do is I just like write down the grams of everything and then I’m gonna go into my fitness power and then write their calories so I kind of track both don’t get me wrong it’s a lot easier to have like a notebook when you’re like measuring things because like I can go on my fitness pal and say I had a small banana but that my name to be 56 grams or something like that and my banana could have been a hundred grams so I feel like this is a little bit better I find it a lot more accurate and everything like that and it’s just a little bit easier to like visually say it all so I’m gonna quickly log in My Fitness Pal on everything that I had and I’ll turn my calories for brekkie [Music] some of these it was like hard to kind of like scale as much because all of mine are in grams and some of them are in cups but I estimated it as much as possible I think some of these I over like added extra calories because I’d rather be over a little bit but yeah I definitely ain’t around the 315 calorie mark so at eight thousand eleven a.m. I will probably have a snack about maybe twelve thirty and then I’ll have lunch about 1:30 so I try and eat close together because that’s how my metabolism works like I am just so hungry like even though that meal was so filling I know in like an hour and a half I could definitely eat again and then I stopped eating at 8 o’clock so basically that’s nine hours of eating and I just feel like it works for me at this rate when it’s my day off I’m trying to drink four of these I’m on my first one now I’m only like halfway but it’s only 11 o’clock we’ve got this [Music] ah [Music] I’m just gonna talk you through my lunch and this is like something that always happens when you have to feel like it’s just how it is but originally just gonna have like smashed a bow with tomato and feta but I didn’t have enough avocado so now we have a tomato ham and cheese toast so I need to go to the shop I think and get some more avocado but I just normally I’ve just got home meal bread because when I went to addy to get that bread they didn’t have it but I’ve put this in the microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese and then I put the tomatoes underneath and that’s pretty much what I’m gonna eat I didn’t have a snack this morning but it is now 2 o’clock and then if I want something later on in the afternoon I can have something a little bit more filling combining basically both my snacks and I’ve got myself a caramel latte just the Nescafe packet caramel latte and I’ve put like a quarter of a cup of coconut milk and I’m just gonna drink this it’s like the worst light like here in Sydney it’s just like sorry bees for a boat outside and I was like I just want something warm I was actually gonna make like lamb for lunch and then I was like I’ll save that for dinner and let’s save face so I don’t even know how this like tomato milk is gonna taste here we are [Applause] [Music] so for dinner I’m just having a little bit of they’re bright and I’m also having some like veggies so I have some potato with a little bit of cream cheese and some sweet chili dressing I’m gonna also had a little bit of corn and pumpkin I haven’t had a snack here so I think I’m gonna save that and have a really nice dessert because at 5:30 I had my dinner so I think that’s what I’ll do all right I’ll talk to you guys then [Music] [Music] everything that I did eat today there is one thing that I will tell you guys that I forgot to I had like a row of chocolate which I didn’t even realize how high calories it was alright it was Aldi hey so not dark chocolate and it was like a row so it was like 20 grams and it was 170 calories like Wow so I’ve added everything into my fitness power and the total for today I had fourteen hundred and thirty nine calories which I was over by thirty-nine calories which is like totally fun if I didn’t have that chocolate I would have been doing so well and I just didn’t even realize it was that high in calories for like irori basically but I’ve learned my lesson I’m gonna go into like my macros true so I had 81 grams of carb 50 grams of fat and 72 grams of protein I did have a lot of carbs today but because I had that bread to soak the bread and like even like the fruit and veg that I have but I’m not really tracking my carbs that much anyway but yeah thirty carbs was from my bread that is everything that I did eat today I hope you guys did enjoy this video and also don’t forget to
