hi guys I’m Jenny and that’s Jason. welcome back to these Nuggets today we are at Thomas Haas. this is in the Kitsilano area. We love coming here whenever we are in this area. It’s a great cafe. Let’s go We got a double baked almond croissant. They bake it not in one big batch. but in limited quantities, small batches, throughout the day. so you get freshest almond croissants whenever you come in. it’s always warm, fresh out of the oven. it’s got substantial almond flakes on top and it’s a sweet and very hearty pastry and it’s a must get while you’re here. that’s what they’re famous for. its really good we also got a hot chocolate. It’s the hot chocolate festival right now. so this is a specialty hot chocolate. It came with a big chunk of grapefruit chocolate it’s like a bath ball you just throw it in while it’s really hot and it’s dissolves. and it makes a really sweet and decadent Thomas Haas is known for their
chocolate. However I am not a big fan of chocolate mixing it with fruits so for me this is an okay one but it looks very interesting to get we also got a latte. The latte is well balanced of coffee and milk it’s made from great espresso beans because it’s got a hint of sweetness after note this is a great combination to go with any of these sweet desserts that you can get here for savoury we got a tomato bocconcini sandwich it’s got avocado, roasted red peppers, watercress, basil pesto, with a splash of balsamic vinegar on a organic baguette baguette is kind of tough but I guess that’s kind of what you get with all the baguette sandwiches and it’s kind of pricey.
