The Most Incredible Apple Fritters with Spanish Almonds

It’s been a very long time since we’ve made a dessert here in the Spain on a Fork kitchen today that´s about to change bienvenidos welcome to Spain on a Fork today we´re making the most incredible Apple Fritters with Spanish Almonds this is the perfect dessert or snack for the holidays yet you can enjoy these fritters all year long they´re very easy to make use simple ingredients and they´re done in under 30 minutes now before we get started on a side note I did receive some pans and knives from Swiss Diamond Cookware before I give you guys my opinion on using their stuff I´m gonna do a couple video recipes and then do a video later on giving you guys my experience with their pans & knives but between you and me I´ve already used it a couple of times and let me tell you it is some of the most amazing cookware I´ve ever used more on that in the future alright let´s get cooking measure out a generous 1/2 cup of Spanish almonds add the almonds to a food processor pulse the almonds for about 30 seconds to achieve this texture add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to a large bowl add 1 teaspoon of baking powder add 1/4 cup of white sugar add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder a 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt the chopped almonds and mix together until well combined add 1/2 cup of oat milk and mix together until well incorporated grab 1 large granny Smith apple and peel cut into 4 quarters cut the ends and core off each quarter cut each quarter in half and roughly dice add the diced apples to the bowl and mix together until everything is well incorporated heat a small fry pan with a medium heat and add 1/2 cup of sunflower oil after 3 minutes start adding spoonfuls of the batter into the pan (cook in batches) after 45-60 seconds flip the fritters around after another 45-60 seconds transfer to paper towels continue to cook in batches until done transfer the fritters to a serving dish sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the fritters and garnish with fresh raspberries ok guys our apple fritters are done look how beautiful these came out let´s give them a try and see how they turned out here we go…salud! beautiful so simple but so good it´s a party of flavors in your mouth you know that combination of the almonds with the granny Smith apple and the cinnamon is absolutely amazing they´re fully cooked through this is an amazing snack or dessert perfect for the holidays or any time of the year before I go I´d like to give out a quick shout-out to Lesley Phillips the winner of the first ever Spain on a Fork giveaway of that 10-inch nonstick frying pan she sent me a couple images of her making one of my recipes the Spanish beans with Tomatoes and Onions she´d like to thank everybody for congratulating her on her win if you enjoyed today´s video hit that like button leave me a comment below and don´t forget to subscribe until the next time…Hasta Luego!!
