hey you two it’s a girl Ashley welcome back to my channel if you were new here then hey what’s up my name is Ashley and I hope you guys joined the fine join the crew join the squad and hit that subscribe button and if you’re one of my own G subscribers buñol I already know what it is thank you guys so much for tuning back in to another video okay you guys saw have you guys been following me for a minute y’all know your girl has been struggling to lose weight for a few years I start weight-loss routines and then fall off mid-month or whatever the cases and I’ve just been feeling so tired of the ups and downs in terms of my weight and I decided you know what enough is enough I need to just find a diet that works for me works for my lifestyle and I need to do it and I need to stick to it and I need to get this done so I’ve been doing some research and I hear a lot of people talking about this keto diet and let me tell you okay the keto diet is the real deal okay because I’m a soul on the keto diet so I’ve been following this keto diet since September the 9th so for the past eight days I’ve been following the keto diet which is pretty much just a low to no carb diet high fat high protein and you guys I’ve actually lost weight in my first week in my first eight days and I want to put this out there that I lost weight without doing a single not even one workout ok this diet is amazing it has allowed me to lose weight without working out all I’m doing is watching what I eat I haven’t done a single sit-up a single pushup a single jumping jack and nothing and I’ve actually last week so I think that’s pretty exciting so for those of you who follow me on instagram and if you’re not following me on instagram make sure you do because I post a lot of my updates things that I’m eating a little motivational post here and there so make sure you guys are follow me on Instagram I’ll have it somewhere here on the screen but yeah I have been withholding my one week weight loss results from my followers on Instagram because I wanted to make a youtube video kind of going through what I’ve been doing on the keto diet so far and the results I’ve seen us so let’s talk about how much weight I’ve lost on the keto diet in my first 8 days and that’s without doing any exercise drumroll please I have lost 6 pounds and my first 8 days on the keto diet and that is without any exercise so so yes I have lost 6 pounds in my first 8 days on the keto diet that’s almost like a pound a day which i think is amazing considering the fact that I haven’t had a single workout and do I plan to do a workout eventually or out of workout routine to my weight loss journey absolutely but I know that food is really my weakness and I know food is where I really struggle with so I’m really just trying to focus on getting my eating right make sure I’m meal prepping make sure I’m eating what I’m supposed to be eating so that once I have that down pack I can add in a workout routine and I won’t be so bombarded or feel so stressed or feel so pressured or overwhelmed with all the different things I need to be doing in order to lose weight so the q2 diet has given me the luxury of being able to eat right and still lose weight without working out so I think that is amazing so for those of you who don’t know the kyouto diet is pretty much a low to no carb diet and high in fats and proteins so lots of cheese butter oil avocados meats like chicken and beef and steak and stuff like that and we’re staying away from carbs they’re staying away from your rice your pasta your potatoes your fries all those things and even certain vegetables you want to stay away from from some of them are high in carbs or very starchy for example like carrots and corn so I’ve been cutting back on some of those carbs and eating more of my meats and fats I’ve been eating a lot of eggs you guys I eat so much eggs I’m Vince I’m going to lay an egg one of these days like I eat so much as a lot of eggs a lot of bacon that’s like your go-to kedo meal eggs and bacon you cannot go wrong with eggs and bacon I eat a lot of chicken a lot of vegetables I eat a lot of salads or chicken stir fries and I’ve been keeping my meals very very simple because if it’s too confident it’s too complicated to make these different types of meals like I will fall off because it’s just too much work for me there’s too much of an effort on my end and so I like to keep my things simple I like to do my meal preps and just make really easy meals so that’s what I’ve been doing I’m just into the same thing over and over again for the past week all I’ve been eating is eggs a bacon chicken and vegetables all of you needed for the past week and I’ve been enjoying it I don’t feel tired of it I don’t feel like it’s bland like it’s been going great for me so far so I’m happy with the results that I’m seeing so pretty much how it works is when you stop feeding your body carbs or sugars your body no longer has that as an energy source and your body will start to use your fat as an energy source and start to burn fat and that is when you are in a state of ketosis so that’s why it’s called the keto diet so that’s what the science is I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more explanation and more scientific explanations of it but that’s from what from the research I’ve done that’s the information that I would gathered but of course as I start to learn more and more about the keto diet and how it works and what it is for the body I would love to share that stuff with you guys so what I’ve been doing on the keto diet I have been following the lazy keto diet now there is so many different types of keto diets just like a strict keto diet a lazy keto diet all these different kinds of keto diets I’m doing the lazy one in the sense that I still do eat some processed foods like cheese and like Bologna and like hotdogs and stuff I’m not only sticking to actual lean meats or fats I do still eat chicken any type of meat I do eat cheese bacon lots of eggs and lots of salads as well lots of vegetables but I think that’s has been working with me for me so far I also keep my meals very simple and eat the same over and over again because I know it works and it’s easy for me and so I just either meal prep my lunches a few days in advance but I just keep the same things every day making the same boots all the time but switching it up ever so slightly so for example if I’m making like a chicken stir-fry or making some type of chicken dish just change up how i season my chicken so that it doesn’t always taste exactly the same every time I make that dish so I’m just been trying to keep it simple but it’s only one weekend and I am still learning recipes and different ways to do things so I’m definitely gonna be bringing those updates to you guys I’m gonna update you guys on a weekly basis of how much weight I’ve been losing so far so make sure you guys aren’t subscribed and toot it so you guys know how much weight you’ve got is losing because girl I have lost six pounds in my first eight days on the keto diet and I haven’t done a single word I like to me that is like yo that is that’s crazy to me you know cuz I’m not somebody who loves working out I don’t like the feeling of being tired I love weight training and I love the feeling of being sore but cardio I’m not a big fan of cardio and so if I can lose weight without exercising I think that’s a great and I follow a few pages on Instagram of people who are awesome in the keto diet and I’ve lost weight and haven’t done any exercises or any workouts and that’s what really prompted me to do the keto diet cuz I need something that fits in my lifestyle I don’t really necessarily have the time to also go to the gym and I know yes you can work up from home but sometimes it’s hard to find the time because I have a three-year-old who’s in school and I go to work full time my time I come home and get everything situated it’s like time to go to bed so I don’t really have time to go to the gym and work out so I love that the keto diet it’s giving me the opportunity to still lose weight without having to work out like you guys so if you are also on a weight-loss journey or thinking of starting a weight loss journey I just want to let you guys know that you can do it you are able to do this you can do it I promise you you can do it you just have to stay positive stay motivated don’t let nothing stop you don’t let the scale discourage you because I know firsthand okay I honestly think the scale is the reason why I failed so many times at losing weight because I started losing weight and I lose like eight to ten pounds and then I gained weight and then I lose weight and it’s all this ups and down that just great I’m excited to see the results that I will have in the future I’ve seen people lose 20 pounds in a month and if I’ve lost six pounds in my first week and if we continued up then I should be at 24 pounds at the end of the month or on October the night so fingers crossed that happen my short-term goal is to lose 30 pounds by Christmas so fingers crossed that when Christmas comes there will be 30 pounds lighter but right now I’m six pounds down and I’m happy and I’m excited and I can’t wait to see you I wouldn’t wear weight I lose so if you guys enjoyed this video make sure you guys give
