The Best KETO Blender PANCAKES (keto recipes for beginners)


I’ve got a special treat for you today I’m gonna show you a keto breakfast that is not eggs and bacon and cheese I get that question a lot in various keto grooves people asking what can they have my keto diet because we’re tired of eating eggs and bacon and cheese for breakfast and they’re just looking for new ideas and before us ate yourself on keto you don’t even truly realize how big a variety of a diet you can have so it’s in today’s video I’m gonna show you how to make keto pancakes all that coming up alrighty here we are with our ingredients so we’re gonna use eggs and almond flour because this is keto and almond flour is a popular flour to use I’m gonna use avocado oil and butter I’ll be using a maple extract a lot of recipes call for vanilla extract but these are pancakes so I think maple extract actually works better salt and baking powder we’re using almond milk powders were again a lot of the recipes just call for a regular granulated sugar or they call for stevia but I think that the confectioner’s version does work better to make a smooth batter you can use granular but I prefer the confectioner’s for pancakes and then for frying them on the griddle I will use coconut oil because that’s gonna make me into some nice crispy edges and then my all-time favorite blender my Blendtec because these pancakes are super easy to make they are actually blender pancakes ready to go I have all my ingredients windows we can just dump everything into the blender and I will use the batter setting so the first thing that you’re put in is 4 eggs then 3/4 cup of almond milk or any other nut milk would work up date night there I think cashew thought would work fine being cheeto my duty to stay away from soy milk but again I think on milk or cashew milk would both work great I’m going to do 2 tablespoons about cotton oil 2 tablespoons of butter melted got 2 teaspoons of maple extract at the entity I’ll have maple extract you can use vanilla extract I think the maple gives it a better flavor in two and a half cups of almond flour 1/4 cup of swerve powdered sweetener again you can try the granulated sweetener I just think this adds for a smoother or batter 2 teaspoons of baking powder and finally 1/4 teaspoon of salt but you can add more or less to your liking all right turned on and again this Blendtec is my go-to blender for everything we’ve had this for 5 years if you’ve seen any of my other videos you probably see me use this they no longer sell this model I’ve had it for 5 years that’s how great this blender is we’ve used it over 2,000 times not including the pulse button but actually the recipe buttons down here over 2,000 times in five years and I saw a link in the description box below to the next gen of this model because I do highly recommend it all right so ready to hit the batter button alright let’s have a look I think it’s ready I’m gonna let this sit for a couple of minutes we’re going to get the griddle set up and then we’ll start making our pancakes we right back okay we’re all set up and this is where the magic happens I put my grill on top of between 300 and 325 for the temperature setting and I’m going to put coconut oil on the griddle it’s gonna keep it from sticking but it’s also to provide a very nice flavor and a little crunch to the edges of the pancakes if you notice here we have a Star Wars Darth Vader spatula my husband is a huge Star Wars fan and my stepmom got him his for Christmas one year along with if we could get something Star Wars rule in it every year so now the batteries rusted and I’m going to pour it out onto the griddle and about a quarter cup servings you don’t anything too big because with with Kiel King cakes they tend to be a little flimsy or not quite as sturdy as a wheat based gluten pancake so you want to keep on the smaller side no giant pancakes with keel pancakes that’s okay you’ll be shocked at how good these are I promise you closer look as you can see these are going to bubble up just like a regular pancake so you’re gonna want to have these bubbles popping on the top and you want the pancake cook almost all the way through before you flip it over okay let’s try that first flip how good does that look okay I think you could honestly trick all of your non keto friends with these pancakes they’re fluffing he looks just like pancakes especially once you add on the butter and the LeConte Oh maple syrup which I will show you here in a minute it is amazing how good these pancakes are as you can see on the bottom don’t get done just again just like regular pancakes and then we’re gonna scoop these up and go on to the next batch well we’ve got this second batch cooking I wanted to mention real quick because the question is gonna come up yes you can freeze these pancakes you can back to cook a whole bunch of them freeze them and single servings about two pancakes per serving this batch will make a total of 20 pancakes zero so about ten servings but I have in the past either four at home or four I knew we were going to be traveling going to the beach I’ll make a head a lot of pancakes to take with us and again they freeze you don’t even have to thaw them out perch you can take them straight from the freezer to the microwave heat them up for 30 seconds to a minute and they’re amazing they taste fresh just like they came off the griddle so I’m gonna finish off the rest of this back and I will come back and show you the complete finished product so take a look at this beautiful beautiful stack of pancakes they look like the real thing but they are hype at super low carb and they are delicious keto does not mean eggs for breakfast every day you can have your pancakes and eat them too and in fact I’ve already cut me up some pancakes I have my Lakatos syrup here it is hands down the best maple syrup for keto is made out of monk fruit and if you’ve never tried it before I highly recommend it I will put a link to this
