l-carnitine what does it do how is it going to benefit you no matter what your goal is on keto essentially what you know you guys have probably heard of l-carnitine okay l-carnitine is a common supplement a Siegel l-carnitine is a variant developed carnitine which is basically able to provide you the same benefits of regular L carnitine to your brain so essentially acetyl l-carnitine is able to pass the blood-brain barrier and that basically means that everything L carnitine does your brain can now it reap the benefits as well so what are the benefits what even is L carnitine l-carnitine people will tell you is an amino acid it’s actually an ammonium compound that is derived from an amino acid and essentially when it’s attached to the acetyl group it’s going to be much more effective l-carnitine because you know of course you need to be in a state where your body is able to use fat right in order to get the most benefits from acetyl l-carnitine but in general it’s going to be more conducive to allowing your body to use fat very effectively so essentially if you’re somebody who’s already eating ketogenic ly if you take this your athletic performance should be massively improved and I mean that doesn’t insinuate that you’re going to have an extra 100 pounds in your bench press but perhaps it means that you’ll perform better over the longevity of things if you play sports perhaps you’ll have more of an intense focus during the game perhaps you’ll have quicker speed on a little sprint to sprint basis okay whatever sport you’re doing and overall probably better endurance because that goes hand-in-hand with mitochondrial function and fat for fuel because it’s a very endurance minded fuel source overall this is actually beneficial for muscle building as well because
