REVIEW: HighKey Keto Hot Cereal aka Keto Oatmeal (1-2g net carb!)


hey guys today we’re gonna look at high keys hot instant oatmeal or hot cereal as they call it you’ll know high key because we reviewed their mini cookies and many of you have gotten these I think or I hope you have because they are bomb but today we’re gonna look at their bone meal so first up is their cinnamon spice and going down their ingredients list we have hemp seeds coconut sunflower seeds milk protein pecans their natural sweetener blend of monk fruit erythritol stevia flax seeds chia seeds cinnamon collagen nutmeg cardamom and salt I mean this looks really really good and I think this is how many people might try to make it if they were to make keto oatmeal so we’re gonna see how well they did in replicating the beloved breakfast cereal before we continue on going we’re gonna look at the net carbs and the fat you got 14 grams of fat per serving which is great and then you have nine total carbs – a fiber which is five and then you gotta – a sugar alcohol which is 4 so you only have one gram net carb per serving and then 9 grams of protein all coming from the milk protein isolate and all those seeds so this is amazing I mean you can have a lot of oatmeal in the morning and stay really really low in carbs so that’s awesome so I’m gonna tell you they say to use water I always like to use milk in my oatmeal growing up so that’s how I’m gonna make it and I like to have it a little more dry than wet so that’s how I’m gonna proceed so this is my favorite keto melt that unsweetened vanilla Mac milk it’s around zero gram net carb and I’m gonna pair it with their cinnamon spice and we’re gonna see how it turns out so this is what there’s cinnamon and spice looks like you see those pecan chunks the graininess looks like oatmeal packets then you see the little dusty nests which might be the protein isolate with the sugar but this looks good when I added the milk and you can see all those cinnamon and spices cardamom spices all mixed in you see the chia seeds so now I’m going to microwave it based on their instructions okay guys so it came out like a perfect oatmeal consistency as you can tell it really is like a keto oatmeal and I did exactly what they said on the instructions i microwaved for a minute 30-second intervals and stirred at after the first 30 seconds so it came out it came out great so now let’s let’s try it so this is really delicious I don’t know what to tell you other than if you love oatmeal you’re gonna love this this taste has cinnamon spice hints there’s chunkiness like from the pecans it’s not overly sweet but it is sweet enough they have a great balance of salty and sweet it’s really really good and it tastes great with the macadamia milk if you’re missing oatmeal this is a hundred scent a must a must get for you I’m gonna try out the cocoa almond next but I love this cinnamon the cinnamon blend it’s really good so here’s the cocoa almond I’m going to check out so let’s look at the ingredients quick so this makes has very similar ingredients to the cinnamon blend pretty much everything’s exam except they substituted out almonds for the pecans and they added cocoa powder and for this this is two graham netkar per serving instead of the 1 gram net car but the cinnamon was but that’s probably from the almonds because they tend to have a little more carb compared to pecans but I mean that’s still super super super low so let’s go and try it out so I don’t know if you can tell but this has a little bit more of a darker brown tint to it okay guys so this you see it there is definite chocolate look to it I’m gonna tell you when I took this out of the microwave it smells just like hot chocolate so I’m really excited to taste this one also I wanted to let you know about the consistency of this there’s no like goo penis or anything it’s very like it’s very blended well and you don’t get any weird chunks I mean it’s super I mean it’s just like oatmeal okay so this flavor this is exactly how we think of it we think of it as if you were camping and you had your instant oatmeal packet and then you decided to mix your hot chocolate Swiss mix into your oatmeal packet that’s what you got here you have a hot chocolate oatmeal okay guys Heike killed it again with their oatmeal both are delicious options if you love cinnamon oatmeal you’re gonna love this this cinnamon spice blend if you love hot chocolate you’re gonna love their their almond cocoa mix also we mixed it with milk add a Mia’s unsweetened vanilla so that probably added a little more fat to it and gave it that thicker consistency but that’s how I personally like my oatmeal if you like it with water you know go for it but definitely if you’re a milk kind of person with oatmeal get this it’s about zero gram netkar per serving so it’s an easy add in to keep it super super low carb thanks for watching and until next time have a good one
