My Weightloss Journey | VLOG +KETO + Beef & Butter Fast


[Music] yeah she comes with the scale time for the weigh-in three days for sure so let’s see my goal is I mean I don’t have a number Bowl but I would say like 155 it’s kind of where I want to be because if it 155 for it I like the women body looked like a size six time lean but the same time I’m never in the past like did so much weight so I might wait for but as long as I look good that’s all about her so 169 let’s see what happens I first found out of this fast on YouTube and I just saw that it was a really good thing to do like if you plateaued or if you’ve knocked yourself out of ketosis or if you just like cheated a lot I haven’t really necessary today I just feel like I’ve plateaued but I’ll talk about that later in this video but I’ve got my water ready you were about to go to the gym me and Dan say hi Dan hey meal prep all my food for the next three days so I cooked I know it doesn’t look that appetizing but I really seasons the out of it I put like that chili lime Trader Joe’s these thing with fresh garlic okay so I measured out six ounces of organic grass-fed beef and then I pull it at first I had put three tablespoons of butter in it because that’s what I’ve seen on YouTube but when I had put that been in my macros I was over on my fat and I actually ended up consulting you may have seen him on YouTube dr. Nick and he told me that I need to bring down the butter because otherwise I’m just gonna be burning the fat that I’m eating opposed to the fat that’s right there so I made sure to go into my carb manager app and I put everything I was gonna eat when I saw that it was over abouts when I made the adjustments I doing this because I want to lose weight now if you are just going to be doing this beef and butter fast then you want to put yourself back into ketosis or you want to get yourself just jumpstart into it then you could probably do 3 tablespoons of butter I am NOT a health expert but when I consulted with dr. Nick this is information you guys if you’re into keto trust me watch his videos he told me to knock it down in half so that’s what I did I’m gonna start off with my keto bulletproof coffee if you guys have never made bulletproof coffee I’m gonna show you really easily how you make it so I’m just going to pour into my ninja I don’t really measure it I guess about 8 ounces of coffee and then I’m gonna put my bulletproof brand xep oil it is basically a higher grade version of an MCT oil I have tried other brands this one is the best careful with the other brands some of them say that the same thing but they’re not to react the same in your body oh and also like they just have a weird taste so I do a tablespoon if you’re starting off with MCT oil it does recommend on the packaging that you want to start off with a half a tablespoon all amounts to start yeah then I’m gonna do a tablespoon of organic d best to be the ghee butter right on the counter it’s fine I won’t go bad right away and then you can really get the right amount when you measure it otherwise it gets pretty hard in the fridge and it’s kind of hard to measure out how much you need really hard to measure out the bullet I tried to bulletproof a while ago I was just trying to cuz I don’t I don’t do dairy too well and I was try different alternatives and the important stuff I was missing was throw that spoon all day long it will never do that it will just separate and have this like oily residue and if you don’t grow it is not appealing or now still gross so what you want to do is you want to blend it [Music] so we’re headed to the gym right now and I felt like this would be a perfect time for me to tell you pretty much my whole experience this past six weeks on keto past six weeks has been interesting so at first when you get into the keto diet everyone’s just telling you you know just eat fat any butter cheese and fruit bat bombs all this stuff and it is true like you do in the beginning just want to get into ketosis so that you can start changing the way your body uses fuel because normally we use glycogen sugar you know carbs for our fuel source and you want to switch over to fat now what I think a lot of people don’t mention is that once you have the switch and now if you especially want to do keto for weight loss you need to make sure that you are definitely tracking your macros and if you don’t know what macros are because for a while I did it it’s basically just knowing how much fat protein and carbohydrates that your body is going to use for your fat loss yeah the app I have is amazing I use carb manager there’s so many out there in the app you put in like all your information what are your goals how much weight do you want to lose what what kind of activity are you going to be doing and then that is how it determines what your macros are the first week was great I lost six pounds that’s already said exactly what happened exactly I started 176 and then I was like 169 170 after that we tuned I think we three nothing before nothing we five nothing beats six nothing and it’s taken me a second to get used to like not eating as frequent throughout the day although it keeps you in storage I know another thing that a lot of people don’t tell you is that if you eat too much protein once you go over that that extra protein gets turned into sugar right now there’s so much to this and that’s why I’m telling you all this stuff because now that I have learned it and also learned like what works for my body what doesn’t work for my body I feel like now this next six weeks this next eight weeks I’m really gonna see a transformation in my body I think another thing that stalled my weight loss was not drinking enough water like in the very first week it was the first time in my life I was thirsty I was like oh my god is this how everyone feels because typically when I’m never thirsty so the first week I was drinking a lot of water and then I kind of fell off definitely feel like I’ve plateaued but I think I plateaued because you know I wasn’t weighing my food which it’s crazy that once I started weighing my food like just this week I started to see like oh that’s six ounces of beef I’ve successfully beef in my car manager and now I’m seeing what it is I’m like oh I think I’ve been overeating I think so many of us who are trying to lose weight we think we’re doing something and then until you actually see the facts the numbers the math you’re like okay that’s a tablespoon okay that’s a cup so it might seem a little anal right now but I am measuring out my stuff I’m gonna be drinking more water we’re hitting the gym around four to five days a week and I may even start to do some intermittent fasting I gotta get into all that because I haven’t even really done it myself but I’m just gonna try and do all the things that are going to accelerate this process because I have goals and I want to hit them you know so that’s kind of where I’m at oh don’t hit that car oh sure easy does it easy does it [Music] [Applause] [Music] let’s go baby let’s go let’s go give me fifteen fifteen maybe fifteen okay try this [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it’s 3:00 p.m. right now I just ran some errands and I’ve got to get some work done later but I just figured let me stay out of the house because my issue is snacking and I don’t want to be like sitting in the house getting work done because I know I’m gonna like go to the fridge I’m gonna be looking in the cupboard I’m gonna be like ah but I still have not eaten like anything except for that bulletproof coffee so I’m just trying to like keep myself busy but yeah let’s go for a little hike [Music] today is day 2 and I haven’t been able to wear these shorts since I went to Vegas two years ago and I just wanted to show it one where it’s at the fact that I can put these shorts on is insane like obviously I still got stuff but I fit in these shorts like what usually I couldn’t even get them before because they don’t have any give and I had so much here and so much here this is definitely working I’m just wondering if after I do this if it still gonna like come right back or if I’m like okay let’s keep going with the diet and exercise if I’m gonna be able to maintain it so that we will see today I’m gonna actually have some breakfast I need to have a little bit of food I’m feeling like I don’t know like I can’t just have like a coffee for breakfast obviously I want to still stick to the fast which is having no carbs at all so I’m gonna have probably like two or three eggs and maybe some bacon or some ham and then obviously you know what I’m eating for lunch and dinner so yeah that’s where I’m at figured I would just log a little I’m actually heading out I’m going to a client to do her makeup and I wanted to get on here and tell you about what’s going on it’s gonna be 100% real last night I had a lot of anxiety so I didn’t really sleep a lot my brain was just going nonstop and I would say about 30 minutes ago that I was in the closet getting something out of it and I started hyperventilating and it gave me a hug he told me that you know I’m pushing myself to the limit and that’s the other thing yesterday you saw that I went to the gym in the morning and in like weights you know to done all upper and then I was like you know good I’m gonna go I’m gonna do a two-hour hike and the hike was in the Sun and I don’t know if maybe I just pushed myself too hard you know and so now I’m feeling it today so it’s just been a lot I just hope that at the end of this like whatever weight I end up losing like it maintains and I can just keep going and keep shredding and this is day two it’s raw real and very dirty and I will just say this if you’ve got a lot going on in your business and or personal life I don’t know if I would do this because you may be triggered I got my bulletproof coffee I’m gonna go strong my last day I already finished my clients for the day I’m gonna do my meditation go for my hike hang out with my friend later so we’ll see the results [Music] [Music] really right now he’s setting lighting it’s very very dramatic Jackie beef and butter fast so I’m happy that I broke my Plateau I was stuck at like 169 171 for the longest time but it definitely was hard like it was easy but it was hard like eating it was fine I’d be honest like I was just like not excited to eat in general but what was so hard was day two I definitely just felt so emotionally on stable I don’t know if it just happened to be a coincidence but honestly like nothing changed in my life except that diet and I just feel like it was such an extreme thing to do that it made me very like just not good when I was just extremely extremely depressed day two like it was so bad but I do also have the personality that I don’t like the feeling of being confined and traps and trapped in doing like a Monday monotonous anything so I felt like that diet was so restrictive that I just couldn’t do it so oh I’m just glad that’s over and and then day three I started my day like normal I had the bulletproof coffee and I was totally good and then I had the last two steps and I was sick as a dog for a good like four hours like I thought I was gonna throw up I didn’t know if I wasn’t having runs like I just didn’t feel good I ended up you know you get I had to like lay down I couldn’t do anything and then I was like no I’m gonna fight through so I ended up still going for about an hour and a half walk just a brisk walk because I wanted to make sure this whole time I was still moving my body and working out because I I could just like but myself into ketosis and all that just on the beef and butter fast I probably would not really recommend it I don’t think that it’s something that I will ever do again but in the sense of keto I definitely have learned a lot I have learned that you know does work it does work the thing is there’s a lot of little rules when it comes to keto you need to make sure that you are not snapping you need to make sure that you are working enough water I mean these are rules for anyone trying to lose weight of course but there’s just a lot of things that you just think like and that’s what I thought and that’s why I feel like I did Plateau because I was eating a lot of dairy because keto is so different that you’re like what do i snack on like I was snacking on the first six weeks you know like salami cheese I just didn’t know what to snack on because I mean think about it when you want to snack do you ever just go you know broccoli no you’re like I want some crackers some hummus you know I mean like pasta I mean I’m a car girl so this has been definitely tricky but I’m gonna stick to it because I definitely have seen some result and I want to keep going and I want to get tight you know yeah you know so I’m definitely keep going with it but and I think I’ll make some more videos like what I’m eating and things like that nature but this has been a journey to say the least I feel like I’m now in a little bit of a better flow six weeks and like I’ve gone past all the things I wasn’t supposed to do and now I know that my plate really this needs to be 50% veggies 25% protein 25% fats or coconut oil your olive oil your alcott oh your knee you know whatever so you need to make sure that you are not just filling your plate up with protein and fat because I’m not saying that you surely not lose weight but you probably will Plateau especially if you’re like me and you don’t have like a hundred pounds to lose you’re pretty close to your goal you know you’re in that ten to thirty pound range you really gotta be strict because it’s it’s easy like I said but it’s hard you know and let’s what’s so hard to me is that in a very limiting diet you can I eat fruit the only fruits you’re allowed are berries and it’s not like you just have it on lemon in the mouth when you measure up a half a cup of berries and you put that into your macros you’d be so surprised that you’re like oh my god that’s sound carbs only have seven cards left like it’s in sync so a lot of times you don’t even want to eat fruit because you’re just like Walt bitch I don’t know waste my carbs so that’s what I’m saying when I say like it’s a little bit just restrictive you know no mean but please make sure to don’t remember like so hopefully I didn’t miss anything I started at a total of 178 and so now 165 so I’ve lost about 13 is that right 13 pounds so yeah it’s working but I’m also working you know I just started going back to the gym so that’s really going well I’m very determined right now I’m very focused and the hardest part for me is a snacking because that’s the thing in Quito if you snack even if you’re just like I just have a couple almonds you will spike your insulin and when you spike your insulin that is going to not allow you to lose weight so if you are a snacker and you want to cut that habit join keto because no joke and there’s not really have any snack options I mean like when you look up on Pinterest like what are your snack ideas you’re just like great I love olives and beef jerky and nuts cucumbers oh that’s it okay I would say this vlog was pretty wrong all over the place like typically my definitely have more order and structure and like a little bit of a flow but I just was like yeah I’m gonna do this let’s just like film the whole thing but please make sure to comment down below specific questions if I did not answer them already because what I want to do is
