is I’ll be going into this diet a little bit more into detail later but in a nutshell what it is it’s a high fat low carb diet literally high fat and you’re using fat high fat to burn fat instead of carbs to burn fat I’m very active so I workout I do Zumba about five times a week so I’m a Zumba instructor as well I lift weights but with such a busy schedule these past couple of months I know it’s not an excuse I haven’t really been working out as much as I should and I haven’t been eating as best as I should so I made a commitment to myself as well as to my girlfriend to my family just to really get back on it and to really make some changes my ideal weight is to get down to about 150 pounds today we’re gonna take a look we’re gonna go on the scale I’m gonna see how much I wave from what I feel by touching my my stomach and my face I feel like I’m about at 170 which is typically higher than what I usually wait so we’re gonna start this keto journey I don’t know specifically how long I’m gonna be doing this but I know that I’m gonna do my best to do it for as long as I can so I’m actually gonna develop a series of vlogs of me being on this journey losing weight from 170 ish to 150 and I would love you guys is support to come and just follow me on this journey it’d be awesome I’m gonna be going through like my grocery shopping list the type of foods that I eat as well as the specific workouts that I do so stay tuned for the next content what’s up guys so I’m here in the gym it’s been a while since I’ve actually had a chance to weigh myself so it’s been months probably weigh like about 20 pounds more so we’re gonna take a look at that as well as my body fat and then we’re gonna just calculate everything and see where I’m at it’s the moment of the truth I do have to add a couple more maybe like a 1 or 1 pound or so or two pounds because I might Pamela so here goes nothing [Music] holy moly I am at 177 prior to this I was about 165 and so my goal is to get down to 150 and I got some work to do also totally forgot my shoes today so I’m gonna be working in my working out in my work shoes alright guys so I’m here I don’t know if you guys have seen what this is but this is a Fat Loss reader which measures your body fat percentage so I’m going to go ahead and do that and see where I’m at last time I looked I was like at 12% yeah so I’m kind of scared let’s hope for the best here we go okay so it shows that I am at a 18.8% body fat not bad my BMI is twenty eight point six so I got some work to do I’m gonna work to getting this down to about maybe 10% 12% body fat anything I don’t show my abs I’m down for so got some work to do let’s start off with this workout alright guys well about to start my exercise so I do a high-intensity interval cardio training we’ll be doing three different moves 20 reps and two sets so let’s get started here we go so what I like to do first is I like to jog in place try to get my breath warmed up my body warmed up do this for about one minute I just think that everything all warmed up okay and then the next set of moves that we’re gonna do you want to make sure that you have a kettle ball so we’re gonna be doing kettle ball swings make sure that when you’re viewing these movements that everything is engaged your six-pack is engaged you know legs and glutes are engaged and your arms so we’ll be doing 20 of these here we go [Music] in the next movie that we’re gonna do is we’re gonna get dumbbells we’re gonna work on our biceps so here we go I got 20s so the way that this looks like is you’re gonna make sure that both arms are activated and you’re not letting this one dangle so we want to keep them activated we’re gonna do five on each side five four three two one hold do it on the other side [Music] [Applause] all right the next set of moves certain number two I’m going to be working on their biceps so get the same weights so with our weights we’re gonna do hammer biceps so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna walk our arms here and squeeze up and down squeeze up and now it’s all in the squeeze make sure to focus on that squeeze it’s not about how many you can do it’s about the squeeze [Music] the next exercise we’re going to do is we’re gonna do some push-ups so make sure to get your weights again so for the push-ups I like to use a dumbbells because I get more of a higher range of motions so it’s better for my my wrist action so elbows in here we go [Music] so we’re gonna Rob leeks so you want to get the kettle ball we’re gonna do ten of these twists motions 10 on each side make sure you squeeze your six-pack [Music] alright guys so I did four sets of those both of those circuits and not easy stuff if you haven’t worked out and you haven’t been in the game for a while so getting back into it sooner or later this will be easy for me all right I’m losing my breath but so let me go over what my workout plan throughout the week looks like so as you all probably don’t know or no I am a Zumba instructor I teach out my job and as well as at 24 hour fitness shout out to the 24 Hour Fitness folks out there all those in both heats so I teach about five times a week so I get my cardio in and I sweat a lot if you all know me I’m dripping sweat and it’s kind of like I just got out of the shower so I think I’ve measured my calories I burned about 600 calories per class so I have my cardio event for sure I’m and then throughout the week my goal is to work out and do weights for about four times four to five times a week during the day or in the night time so that’s what my workout looks like throughout the week lot of Zumba and a lot of weight lifting so definitely my goal is to get super lean for the next two months my goal is to drop all these 20 pounds because I’ve done keto before and I’ve dropped about 20 pounds within like two months and it’s been good it’s been good it’s the healthy way so easy way to shred fat and so you’ll be able to go through my journey and see that all right I’m gonna do some free weights now and some other machinery exercises so take a look get some ideas hopefully these workouts will benefit you here we go [Music]
