KETO Weekly Meal Prep| Healthy Family Friendly Prep| Keto jalapeño chicken, Gumbo, cookies

hey yo welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another weekly meal prep video so in these videos I hope to inspire and motivate people to what a meal prep for themselves and their families for my family meal prepping is essential my husband and myself work full time away from the house so it saves time it saves money and it helps us to not make bad choices so if you want to see it we’re making this week and if you want to see new recipes that I’m going to be trying this week then definitely stick around all right so the first thing I’m going to start with is I’m gonna take some of these Teton sausages and these I get at Costco they have amazing macros their ingredients are so so clean and good they’re grass-fed but I am just going to chop these up into bite-sized pieces I’m gonna throw them in that pan and I’m just going to kind of cook them up a little bit until they’re browned and then I’m gonna add eggs in there so I did add in around three sausages you could obviously add in as many as you want and then I threw eight eggs into that bowl along with some salt and pepper and I did throw in a little bit of heavy whipping cream and I just throw that in because it makes it a little bit fluffier kind of the same thing when you add heavy whipping cream to your egg whites I have really been doing it when I cook them in the pan as well and as you saw I did add a little bit of cheese in there as well and there is the finished product and this is such a delicious easy protein filled fulfilling meal for breakfast alright so next up I am going to make that Kido no egg bread absolutely delicious if you haven’t tried it yet I will leave all the links to every one of my recipes in the description box below so this will be down there but I just threw in 300 grams of almond flour now I’m throwing in 60 grams of coconut flour obviously I’m measuring this all out on my food scale and make sure that you reset it after you measure each product so that way it goes back to zero make sure you zero it out but this is just 40 grams of flax meal as well as 40 grams of psyllium husk then we are going to add 7 grams of salt [Music] then this is just one tablespoon of baking powder and then we’re just going to give it a stir and make sure all the dry ingredients are well incorporated within each other [Music] all right so I did take two tablespoons of coconut oil and I did melt it in the microwave you could use whatever kind of oil you want whether it be olive oil or avocado oil or whatever you want then I’m just adding one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and then that is just the melted coconut oil that I melted in the microwave as well as two cups of lukewarm water or 480 milliliters and then you just basically mix it as well as you can with your spoon until it kind of gets a little bit drier and then you knead it for about a minute to two minutes once you’re done kneading the dough then you’re gonna form it into a loaf of bread and then I did preheat my oven to 400 degrees already and I already lined a pan with parchment paper but once you’re done forming that loaf of bread you’re gonna let it set for about 10 minutes so that way it can really absorb all of the ingredients together but how beautiful does that look gosh it makes me proud every time I make this bread [Music] [Music] this bread slices so nicely it really does look and taste just like whole-wheat bread I mean look how beautiful that looks it looks just like bread and in my own opinion it really does taste just like bread all right so now I’m just cooking up some chicken tenders I just season them with salt and pepper and this is just nice to have in the fridge if you want something quick and easy to throw on salads or even just to maybe even dunk in ranch or whatever but it’s just nice to have something like that in the fridge ready now I am cooking up some chicken breasts that I trimmed up and I split them in half cuz these stinkers were humongous then I also diced up about five slices of bacon and I’m just gonna saute them in my pan and I’m going to prepare them because we are going to be making low-carb jalapeno popper chicken Oh sounds delicious so in this bowl I’m just preparing the jalapeno popper layer so the first thing I threw in there was about eight ounces of cream cheese that was softened as well as a half a cup of mayonnaise again this recipe will be in the description box below and then that is jarred jalapenos that are sliced I put in around 1/4 a cup of those I think I kind of went a little overboard on those but I did that on purpose because we love jalapenos and then I’m also throwing in around one cup of shredded cheese and we are also going to add around 1/2 a cup of Parmesan cheese and then I just took my fork and I just kind of smashed all that together and then I add those bacon bits into that as soon as they were cooled and then the chicken is says to cook it in the oven I ended up cooking it in my electric skillet because I absolutely love my electric skillet so the chicken once it was thoroughly done I just threw the jalapeno popper layer right on top of that chicken and then I preheated my oven to 350 degrees while that was preheating I went ahead and got the topping layer ready because there’s a topping that you put on top of the jalapeno popper later so for this layer you’re gonna add around 2 ounces of pork skins and I’m just crushing them with my handy dandy kitchen mallet there and once they were nice and crumbly I did leave a few larger pieces a few small pieces so that way it was a different texture I’m also throwing in 1/2 a cup of Parmesan cheese and then at the bottom of that I did melt around four tablespoons of butter and now I’m just mixing all that in together with the fork and then I will just set that aside again I preheated the oven to 350 degrees I just baked these for about 15 minutes but just watch it whenever it’s bubbly and looks like it’s ready then go ahead and pull it out and how delicious does that look even without the extra topping but I’m going to add that extra topping and we are going to put our oven on broil so that way it gets a little bit crunchy [Music] [Music] [Music] how delicious does that look oh my golly I cannot wait to try this so this will be in my how did it taste video along with the other two brand-new recipes that I’m going to try [Music] next up is keto crock-pot gumbo so I am just cutting up all the vegetables that I’m going to put in there I cut up two stalks of celery I’m going to cut up one green pepper and one onion [Music] now I’m just preparing all the chicken I already cut off all the fat and trimmed it up nicely so I’m just cutting it into bite-sized pieces so that way I can throw it into the crock-pot as well as the sausage that sausage is the same tenten sausage that I used on the eggs I just cut those up into bite-size pieces as well so I just pulled out my handy-dandy crock-pot I’m literally just throwing everything in so simple this recipe is so I threw in the chicken the sausage I’m throwing it all of the veggies I am going to throw in some garlic just a couple of teaspoons of garlic as well as some Cajun seasoning that is about 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and that is a 6 ounce can of tomato paste that we are adding as well as a 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes and we are adding in all kinds of seasonings so we are going to add in a half a teaspoon of oregano 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper 1/2 a teaspoon of thyme 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne pepper 1/2 a teaspoon of xantham gum as well and then it says to throw in there anywhere between one to two cups of bone broth I ended up just throwing in I kind of went in the middle so I threw in about one and a half cups of chicken bone broth and then I just went in there and I just kind of stirred all that together so that way hopefully the ingredients are incorporated well and let me just tell you that crock-pot was full I could have not fit anything else into that crock-pot so good thing that was all we were adding all right look how yummy that looks though and then we haven’t even added the shrimp yet so good thing that cooked down a little bit because we are again going to add shrimp as well but that looks delicious just like that so that is why we’re going to be using I’m gonna be using the wild gulf shrimp but i’m not going to add that until about 20 minutes before serving i’ll add that at the very end so i am going to throw my crock-pot on low and i’m gonna let this all cook for around 7 to 8 hours pop the lid on that puppy and just let it do its thing then i did go ahead and add the shrimp forgot to record it but I just thought the shrimp out before I added it and then I added it about 20 minutes before it was finished [Music] [Music] [Music] again another new recipe that will be in the how did it taste video along with that gumbo one and the jalapeno one but this is chocolate chip cookies and these chocolate chip cookies have swerve brown sugar in there I have not had chocolate chip cookies that were keto with brown sugar in them yet so we were gonna give these a try and hope that they are good but you saw me put in there a half a cup of butter that I melted as well as 1/3 cup of erythritol now I’m throwing in there 1/3 cup of brown sugar and this is the swerve brown sugar that I was telling you about and the erythritol I used mock fruit I absolutely love monk fruit and it looks and feels just like brown sugar so I thought that that was nice and then we are just gonna give this a stir to to incorporate all of the sugar and the butter together and then we are going to add a couple of eggs slowly and we are just going to mix the eggs in one at a time [Music] [Music] then we are going to add in the vanilla it takes one teaspoon of vanilla and then I’m just going to stir that in as well as the almond flour so the almond flour it calls for two cups of almond flour again another recipe that will be in the description box down below now you see me putting four in there that’s because that measuring cup that I was using was only a half a cup that’s why I did four I don’t want to confuse you guys then I’m adding in a half a teaspoon of baking soda and just a pinch of salt now I’m adding in Lily’s chocolate chips it takes about two-thirds cup of Lily’s chocolate chips those Lily’s chocolate chips I found at Walmart and they are the milk chocolate baking chips those things are delicious they taste just like chocolate I highly recommend them if you find those at your Walmart I would definitely pick them up because I did add the rest of my Lily’s chocolate chips that I get at sprouts let me tell you that the ones that I got at Walmart the milk chocolate baking chips are so much better than the ones that we were getting at sprouts with the dark chocolate but again that’s my own personal opinion and definitely try things out for yourself so that way you know for yourself if you are going to like something better or not but I just stirred that all up incorporated that well and it was a little bit runny so I put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to help it cool and set up and then I just took my handy dandy little cookie scooper and I have a really small cookie scooper so I always like to make small cookies and I just scoop them all out onto my cookie sheet that I already lined with parchment paper all right so I did preheat my oven to 350 degrees and it says to bake your cookies for 17 minutes I think it just depends on the size of the cookie because my cookies were kind of small and mine only took about 1213 minutes and they were done but look how beautiful they came out they look and smell delicious high hopes for this cookie recipe with brown sugar in it y’all so super excited to give these a try alright y’all so that concludes the end of this Mill prep I hope you guys enjoyed it I hope it inspired and motivated you guys
