what’s up everybody my name is Amanda and you’re watching girl gone Aikido [Music] welcome to my channel if you are new here thank you for stopping by and checking out girl Gong keto and if you are a subscriber welcome back no matter if you are new or returning be sure to give this video a like and subscribe if you are interested in more keto videos today’s video is gonna be all about snacks beverages sweet snacks salty snacks maybe even savory snacks snacks and more snacks before I start talking about all of these products I do want to let you guys know that this is not a sponsored video I am however going to link as many of these items as I can possibly find from amazon.com in the description box below it is an affiliate link which means I would get a little kickback but it does not change the price for you so we’re gonna kick it off with beverages the first beverage I want to talk about today is called sparkling ice this is a carbonated water it is caffeine free it is zero calorie zero carb zero sugar zero protein basically zero everything what it does have in it if you look at the ingredients there’s a lot of things for sweetener which we pay attention to on keto is sucralose can you get by with drinking it yes you can but it’s not the best thing that you could drink I don’t drink these all the time because like I said it is with sucralose but it holds you over I drink these when I can’t get my hands on my absolute favorite beverage which I’m gonna talk to you about next next what I’m going to talk about is Z BIA and this comes in cans and it comes in various flavors the good thing about these is the ingredient list is much smaller than the previous beverage we got carbonated water and stevia leaf extract is the sweetener for this so this is going to be better than your sucralose because it is plant based so if you look at the nutrition facts it’s zero everything it is carbonated so it does give you that soda effect it does have caffeine these two are my personal favorite this is black cherry and then this one is dr. Zvi which is kind of a knockoff for Dr Pepper one little bonus thing I wanted to throw in is sweet drops this is what I use in my coffee a lot of us do bulletproof coffee with butter or coconut oil even but I am a flavored coffee drinker when you give up sugar you give up syrups that are flavored as well in comes this guy this is zero calories one carb and the ingredients are a very small list of ingredients the sweetener that is used is stevia leaf extract it is naturally sweet stevia is a plant if you didn’t know that they heard a herb herb a plant this is in the flavor caramel and then they also have it in vanilla and I think they might even have like a coconut cream or a chocolate one as well so moving on the first salty snack I want to talk about is peanut butter this is the Smuckers organic creamy peanut butter this one I love because it is literally nothing but peanuts the ingredient list is very simple very basic peanuts and salt it’s also organic so it’s non-gmo it’s not going to have any harsh pesticides or anything added into it which is super important I like knowing that what I’m getting in my body is good for me through and through and this one is also when you look at the nutrition label it only has five total carbs but then it has fiber in it so if you didn’t know net carbs are where you take the total carb and you subtract the fiber you would also subtract any sugar alcohol and that leaves you with the net carbs so this is only a net carb of two grams for two tablespoons that’s great that gives you craving gone real quick so my favorite salty snack is macadamias and my current favorite brand right now is the Royal Hawaiian orchards they are the sea salt flavor and when you look at the nutrition label you get 21 grams of fat and the carbohydrate count is four total with two grams of fiber you’re gonna get two net carbs for one serving of macadamias and one serving is about 28 grams so the ingredients on these and a very very short list it has macadamia nuts macadamia nut oil and sea salt three ingredients great keto macros sure to get your hands on some of these and try them out if you have not already the other type of nut that I’m into these days is called Brahmi I believe it’s how you say it brought me Brahmi it’s Italian so apologies if I’m butchering how you say this it is a loop a knee nut and it comes in a couple different flavors this is the chili and lime flavor and it tells you right on the front of the bag that you’ve got seven grams of plant protein sixty calories and zero net carbs when you’re looking at the ingredients on this you’ve got Lupita beans water lime juice concentrate sea salt and chili peppers a little bit of vinegar a little bit of lactic acid for freshness really clean ingredients really really good for you good vegetable source of protein and one gram of fat not necessarily high enough fat like our macadamia nuts but still a very good quality snack when you get that snack urghhh next I want to talk about my favorite keto chips yes I said chips first we’re gonna talk about pork rinds pork rinds are a keto staple my current favorite brand are the epic artisanal pork rinds these are in the sea salt and pepper flavor I like these ones they also come in barbecue but those are a little too spicy for me if you don’t like spicy but just nice savory full of flavor pork rinds this is a great brand at a great price and this is a really really good flavor when you look at the ingredients on these very minimal ingredients you’ve got pork skins pork fat black pepper sea salts onion powder and garlic powder you’re getting some seasonings and then your pork rinds which is exactly what you want you want to know what you’re putting in your body it’s very straightforward you get 4.5 grams of fat zero cards eight grams of protein and the big thing I would say is there’s no carbs in this at all so it’s a carb free snack so the next chip I want to talk about is the quest chips these are the tortilla style they look like this this is the nacho flavor it tells you right on the front of the bag that you could crush this whole bag and it would just be for net carbs this is different than pork rinds I just talked about because the ingredient list is extensive this is truly a processed food while it is keto friendly the ingredient list is not plain simple when you look at the nutrition facts for this entire bag you’re looking at 140 calories 6 grams of fat 5 total carbs less one gram of fiber which is going to get you to your net of four and then it has 18 grams of protein so yes totally keto friendly totally delicious but totally a processed food not perfect keto because the fat is lower than the protein ideally you would want your snack to have the highest grams of fat next protein next carbs and these are better than their traditional chip like their version of almost a potato chip these ones have a better texture and I think that they have a better flavor now moving on to our sweet snacks I have learned how to make low carb chocolate chip cookies at home to me there’s nothing quite like a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie but this next snack comes quite close they’re from the brand Heike and they come in a little pouch like this they are chocolate chip cookies they have some other flavors but these are my favorite for six pieces you are looking at 13 grams of fat 11 carbohydrates as total carbs but it’s got 2 grams of fiber and 7 grams of erythritol and if you remember I said earlier that when you are calculating your net carb you always subtract fiber and any sugar alcohol erythritol is a sugar alcohol so we would go ahead and subtract that this only has two net carbs for 6 pieces of cookie this just hits you right it’s chocolate it’s sweet but it’s also a little bit salty it does a really really really good job of hitting that snacks so be sure to check these out if you don’t have time or if you have failed at making your own chocolate chip cookies at home this is an amazing replacement for that next thing I want to talk about is just straight chocolate if you’re looking for a dark chocolate that is not quite so bitter I would recommend to you the lily’s chocolate it comes in a couple of different flavors I just get the plain this it is sweetened with stevia and with erythritol so when you look at the ingredient list it’s gonna be a little bit more extensive lots it is keto friendly when you look at the nutrition facts you’ve got hundreds Steve calories 15 grams of fats and 22 total carbs but then you subtract the fiber which is 12 grams and you subtract the sugar alcohol which is 6 grams which gets your next card count down quite low and it only has two grams of protein that is 440 grams of chocolate and it says in this whole bar is only two servings so when you look at it chop it in half that’s one serving that’s another and that’s a great great great chocolate mix if you just can’t hang with that dark of chocolate be sure to check these out the next time you’re at your local grocery store but I will also link them below in the description box so last but not least I
