so I had a binge last night [Music] so yes I had a binge last night this week these last three days have been rough we just had our first three days of real school with real students in the classrooms yes this is not an excuse this is just like a setup because I don’t believe in excuses when it comes to overeating you know it’s all decisions that we make I don’t know what my hair is doing it’s humid I tried to make it look real nice but it’s not cooperating anyway so it was a tough first week back everything that could go wrong with technology went wrong but Ally made it work and that’s what it drained me so last night I was running on fumes also this happened which you know is exciting but also it takes energy to just kind of get all that attention I’m not a person who seeks attention all the time although I feel like having a youtube channel makes it seem that way so yes last night I was so tired I haven’t felt that tired mmm-ah since I don’t know when so the muscle and I date night he has Friday nights off and so we went out and we had some Mexican food and I was about to pass out on the stool where we were sitting Ali was tired and I think that that played into the whole band is I am a tired eater if I eat it makes me feel more awake and so I didn’t want to you know pass that at you know 7:00 p.m. although I did pass that at like 9:00 so we went out to eat we had some dinner I had a glass of wine or two which probably did not help you know that lowers those food inhibitions but I was trying to enjoy the night but then Ali started in on the peanuts and then it was the cashews and y’all I’m gonna be honest I’m gonna be honest even though it’s embarrassing then I asked the muscle to go grab me not one pint of hailer top not two pints of hailer top not three pints okay let’s up but I asked him to get me four pints of halo top cuz when Ali binges Ali goes hard this does not happen every weekend you know I restrict my calories in the week so I can enjoy my weekends more but this might have been once every two or three months but this time it was really bad but I did pass out before that fourth fight of ice-cream ever got into my hand so I feel like that worked out at least so yes Ali was bad I woke up with the carb sweats Alif the dangers of filming outside I never got the meat sweats I don’t think that those are real that’s an old wives tale but the carb sweats when you’re in ketosis oh man I feel so bloated and sweaty and like it’s about dinnertime for me and I am not hungry at all right now like I’ve been fasting all day but it’s not because I’m fasting cuz I feel bad about my binge it’s I’m fasting because I’m not hungry so I may or may not make dinner later on who knows anyway the point is you have to evaluate why you binge and so for me I feel like yes I was very stressed that’s not an excuse to binge but you need to find ways now to avoid a future binge once you figure out what’s going on so very stressed and also to I was doing bunless burgers for about two weeks in a row with canned green beans and the burgers and selves were good but I got to the point last week where I was like I don’t want this anymore and so I think this week I need to switch it up and so I’m going to treat myself a little bit with the food that I get and so I’m just gonna try and approach it so that I enjoy the food a little bit more this week to kind of treat myself now that works starting back you know to get myself back into the habit of waking up very early every morning I’m gonna you know not look at food so much as you know just sustenance and I just need my one meal a day and that’s it I’m gonna try and just enjoy it so that’s what I’m gonna go for at Walmart so I know that was a long ramble but it’s just you know you you’ve got to evaluate why you’re binging and figure out ways to avoid that so let’s go to Walmart so I couldn’t really find all of one thing but what I’m gonna get is I got two of these flat iron state and the calories didn’t look too bad 200 calories per 4 ounces so I got two of those packages I got one package of four pieces of sirloin and this is even less calories 174 4 ounces so I would have two of these at night and one of the Flatirons by night and then for a Thursday you know getting ready for the weekend I come and stuff one of these the New York strip steak and this one has the highest calories coming in at 250 for 4 ounces but that’s ok I’m sure by Thursday I’m gonna need a really nice big thing so I do like my wine and since it is still summer time I’ve really been loving myself and young blonde it’s kind of a Polly and it’s really light and crisp but not too sugary so since this is all about kind of trying to breathe tune my approach to things I want to enjoy my food so that I’m not feeling desperate by the end of the week I’m gonna go for the Kim Crawford I’ve tried that at a restaurant and I liked it so I’m gonna get one of these maybe it’ll show up and I’m are low down feeling fancy with my top shelf Walmart wine do you see what’s happening what is this what is going on staying away from this vinyl because that’s what got me into trouble last night I started on those peanuts and then I started on some Kashi for Ally so remember if you don’t have it at home and you just say no at the grocery store it’s one less step to a binge I needed to remember that but I picked them up well I got the muscle to pick me up some on his way home what night so not for me why don’t people watch my videos and they’re like that’s it that’s all you’re eating and I’m like yeah because I like to have fun on the weekend so if you save up all your calories and you restrict a little bit during the week then you can have more fun and not have to worry so much about it on the weekend it’s been working for me for a couple years now in maintenance mode and that’s just my approach people are gonna do it differently so yeah I do restrict throughout the week and I do eat one meal a day right now just because it’s not on my mind and I don’t crave it so yeah that’s what I do I do want to make a longer maintenance video I do feel like I’m becoming more comfortable with it I’m in the sugar section I was looking for like spices to rub my meat down but I’m in the wrong section so after work I do like to have a little snack right before I start cooking so I di think these have I think maybe in another video but I really like these these are marinated mushrooms they got the basil basil I think in them and some garlic really good very low calorie and low carb really good snack option it could just kind of want something I’m also gonna pick up some blue cheese stuffed olives the calories are pretty good 10 calories per serving and a serving size is 10 grams about 1 I’ll live so you may have 3 or 4 of these of 30 calories and it’s 1 gram of carb each so not too bad again if you can fit it into your day a nice little salty snack and because this video has become more about like a reimagining how I want to approach my food and my view of food I’m gonna buy some capers I’ve always kind of wanted to I like it when I eat them on things that have keepers on them I just I’ve never bought them or cooked with them or use them for anything so I was gonna treat herself and buy ourselves some capers you might have noticed I have not stopped to get soda when I went on vacation it was kind of hard to keep soda with me and like get it out and about so I couldn’t I got over that a little bit I mean I’ve had a few soda since being back but I haven’t bought it to keep at home I’ve been doing my water with lemon my icy water with lemon speaking of I got to go look at the tumblers but it’s been working and finally I’m getting my roasted vegetable so to roast I’m getting some cauliflower you know we love cauliflower picked up a bag of Brussels sprout and lots of broccoli some people don’t agree but I say hey if it’s a vegetable and it’s not like a potato or whatever and it fits your macros I’m one of those people I got some carrots to do and they’re not really bad and I’m not gonna use them a lot maybe I’ll use five of these chop them up a little bit roast some like I said I’m just treating myself to avoid a binge so that I’m not eating you know crappy food all at night I think it’s gonna help and that’s my approach this week and then finally my dessert has been the quest bars they did me really well for several weeks because they’re single serving and they’re expensive so they’re really hard to binge on so I’m gonna get the Oreo maybe the cookie dough I don’t know enough for the week awkward filming in public so I’m trying to get out of people’s way so I’m in the men’s t-shirt area so I did I picked up the s’more quest bars and these are really good on carbs I think every variety I’ve tried as four grams of carbs net carbs per bar and this one’s 200 calories and I think that’s about everything food wise that I’m gonna try for this week I’m looking forward to it I did those bunless burgers for two weeks maybe three I don’t know so I think I got tired of it and that also kind of contributed to my binge and just being feeling a little bit more miserable and so you gotta approach this also not just from what you’re eating but also how you feel and you got to take care of yourself mentally to it so it’s a stressful week try and find other outlets instead of binging out on food like I did although I will say that when I first got into maintenance mode it was happening more often I think because I was still being so strict so now I’m kind of letting myself enjoy food a little bit more and it’s just an approach and just some suggestion so a little while ago I bought a water bottle about this size and I love it because it’s like I can slip it in my bag and it’s leak proof and everything but I’m finding that I’m really thirsty during work now especially now that the students are back and so I’m wondering if being in that like dehydrated state also caused me to binge cuz I was really just thirsty and just worn out you know week so I’m gonna get this big old Bubba thing I love that and has the big mouth because I love my icy water and so I’m not gonna sit there and like create my own little skinny icicles cuz it wouldn’t make enough anyway those little Mole so I need a big mouth and I need a big bottle and it looks leak proof and I’m gonna take it with me to work starting on Monday I’m so excited now that I’m gonna have a lot of icy water with me so yeah a lot of weight loss is you know trying to figure out what’s wrong trying to figure out what’s causing your symptoms and you know it’s it’s more than food it’s it’s a lot of the emotional stuff and the physical stuff that goes into it but I got in my last item on my list that I wanted and so I’m treating myself to a brand new water bottle so I think that’s gonna be about it for today if you guys enjoyed the video please don’t forget to Like and
