[Music] everybody so I thought I’d share what we’re having for dinner tonight it’s just like the real thing lasagna and it is one of our absolute favorite recipes as a matter of fact sometimes Eddy will actually make the noodle part of the recipe and we’ll have pizza with it it’s really really good so that is what’s for dinner tonight and I’ll have all of the cookbooks listed below so that you’ll know where to reference it everybody I thought I’d share with you what I had come in from Amazon so I picked up the Anthony’s organic shredded coconut love to make the chocolate fat bombs that have the coconut in it it’s as close to kind of an almond joy if I had to say what it was like but I look at see what recipe that was I made it this week so I picked up a big bag of that and then I picked up two bags of the LaQuinta powdered monk fruit sweetener and then no one bag of that and then I picked up one bag of the Lepanto monk fruit sweetener classic and then more of the MCT oil that eddie puts in his coffee and so that’s everything from Amazon right now everybody so I thought I’d share what we’re having for dinner tonight so green beans we like the French style they are just so good and then a Costco chicken tonight was one of those nights that I really didn’t feel like cooking but we did not want fast food even keto friendly fast food so Costco’s chicken are such a great item to pick up because it’ll actually feed your entire family well depending on the size but for two big boys and me it works great sometimes you can get a rotisserie chicken and you literally need two of them but you can do just one from Costco and it works out fine and as far as my fat I’m gonna have a fat bomb for dessert and that’s how I’ll get my fat in for tonight if this would have been broccoli I would have done cheese and bacon and butter but I am gonna add some butter to my beans and that will be dinner tonight all right everybody so I am having dessert and tonight I am having a joe de Quito donut with a cinnamon sugar glaze on art nut glaze but cinnamon sugar sprinkle on the top so I think next time I didn’t have any Lilly’s chocolate but I think I’m going to melt some chocolate and butter and then dip the donuts inside of it and make a chocolate ice doughnut but for tonight this is gonna be super yummy good morning everybody so I wanted to share with you a recipe that we made last night and I completely forgot and got sidetracked with showing it to you so a lot of mixed reviews on this one it’s out of the keto for foodies which I love this cookbook and it was the on page 268 the spicy garlic pork with stir-fried broccoli and of course I did chicken instead of pork only because I haven’t I just haven’t been in the mood for pork chops lately I know I go through phases I’m sure you do too and I’ll go back into pork chops but right now I’ve been using a lot of the chicken breasts that I have and this recipe here is a look at the dish right here first of all it was a lot of fun to make because we actually have a wok and just to cook in it and stir fry I love that experience so that was fun the main ingredient for the sauce is this little item I did go to an international food store to buy this I couldn’t find it in Publix or Walmart even though some Publix do sell this but it’s the sambal a low key I don’t know how to pronounce that but this is the main ingredient and the problem is you can’t say we use less of the sauce because it’s only this and like a tablespoon of unseasoned rice wine vinegar so there’s nothing else and then you can cut back on this you have to use this it is spicy and the title of this is spicy the broccoli was pretty much nobody Eddie tre or I could eat the broccoli because it soaked up every ounce of the sauce and was just way too hot the chicken Eddie and I could eat it if we just dipped it in ranch dressing and coated it and ranch dressing like you do really really hot buffalo wings and it was good I liked the flavor but I don’t want to sit there and have to use even homemade ranch and soak every piece of chicken tray on the other hand he really liked it except for the broccoli because it was too hot so Trey came back for seconds a big plate of seconds and enjoyed it it just wasn’t a dish that I did not like I did like it but I just don’t most couldn’t eat it because it was so hot and like I said there’s no way that you can back out the seasoning because all the heat is in this and this is the sauce along with the rice wine vinegar so I don’t think it’ll be something we make again but it doesn’t necessarily get a bad review because train was like this is really good and came down for a second so just for me it’s not going to work but I didn’t want to skip that one but that’s it hey everybody so I just got back from Whole Foods I don’t go there often but I was on the hunt for a couple of things and they had it so unsure so I have heard people that follow keto share these and it’s the 4505 and it’s the like the fried pork labs and so I picked up the jalapeno cheddar I thought Eddie might like to try that one I picked up and they aren’t kind of expensive but these are supposed to be the highest quality they also say that they’re humanely raised without added antibiotics and added hormones and you never get those like really tough crunchy they’re supposed to be really good classic chili and salt and I I had never had a pork run until like six months ago in my entire life and when you’re craving a chill or something salty they’re great and this is the smokehouse barbecue and then I picked up the dry cleans chili and lime spicy green chilly and 1 & 2 bags of the lowest chocolate I did some larger chocolate chips and the smaller I only open one bag at a time so if I can properly scan them and measure them and then I got this which I’m actually gonna try this with you now we’ll try some of the chips when Eddie gets here and he picks out which bag you must open I picked up the nut butter and it is the vanilla almond butter this has 5 total carbs if you eat the entire packet and like 15 grams of fat we’re not going to do that I am going to first open it and then we’re gonna try just a little oil spin and then I thought it would be kind of fun to try it on the doughnut and just take a little bite of the donut and see how it is so I’ve heard people say this tastes just like cake batter so we’re gonna put a little on a spoon and let’s see how it is it’s very good it I don’t really know how to describe it but it’s very good so now let’s try a little and I’m not one that usually eats peanut butter straight out of the jar even before keto so let me put a little bit on a doughnut and see how it’s on that how it is on that okay so all I’m doing is I took a little bit of this joe dot chiodo nut and I’m going to spread a little bit of this on there I’ll just kind of evenly spread it and let’s see how it tastes that is fantastic if you wanted just a little bit of extra fat into your diet and you had one of these doughnuts and you wanted kind of a topping you could even do that and drizzle some chocolate melt it on top of it it is fantastic it’s the rx nut butter in the vanilla almond that’s it it was don’t remember how much for this packet but it is really really good and like I said you’re not gonna eat the whole packet you could get a couple of servings out of that so nowhere near the file carbs I truly doubt you would eat the whole thing so very very good alright so that was delicious and I’m kind of very curious about how these are going to taste I think we’re gonna go in for the classic chili and salt let’s just make a try this one and then if Eddie wants to open another one one thing I can tell like most you [Applause] like most trips there’s a lot of air but it’s pretty it’s pretty full that’s pretty good all right let’s see how this is oh my goodness I know it looks delicious doesn’t it these are amazing that is delicious the seasoning they’re not not – it’s a chili it’s not a spicy and the salt mmm these are a winner hmm they’re so good okay everybody so tonight for dinner we’re having taco soup out of the southern quito cookbook this is such a fantastic recipe you can top it with cheddar cheese sour cream all kind of good stuff so that’s dinner and then I’ll actually put two bowls up and we’ll have this for lunch tomorrow all right have a great night hi everybody so I’m just getting home from work and I thought I would share my order that came in I ordered the quest chips and this is the chili lime flavor so kind of God I’ve shared with you yesterday when I picked up the classic chili and salt and these were really good Eddie also really enjoyed them so I’m going to because I’m very curious I’m only gonna try one and then I’ll let Eddie try it and then I’m gonna wrap them up and put it out but I am very interested see how this one is watered this off Amazon and it just came in today and these are kitto friendly so let’s see did you see yesterday how hard I had to pull that bag I almost put it to music and slow motion hold on okay sorry we are trying to get everything organized so we can cook dinner tonight I’m really excited about dinner by the way so chili lime so let’s see how they want first of all this is a great example of how there’s a lot of air and the batter so that’s the chips and that’s the bag that’s pretty typical with a lot of your chips I will say I was very pleased with the pork runs though that was a little bit of air and a lot of pork rinds so let’s see first of all the smell is very chilly Lum so that passes I’m just kidding but is it very good the chili has a little bit of heat but not to where it’s unbearable it’s just kind of like a little POW and a lot like these a lot one more then I’m gonna put them up they’re not eating chips and then I’ll let any products that is very very good so far has the nachos the ranch and now the chili lime and they are all winners okay so Eddie and I are gonna start cooking you should be here any minute that I’m gonna get started so the very first thing I’m gonna get get going is my bacon and what I like to do is get the oven preheated I take just a cookie sheet and then I take a cooling rack and I sit this on top of it and I lay my bacon on it and then I cook it in the oven that is my absolute favorite way to enjoy vacant let’s get this done and then into the oven and I’ll tell you more about what I am cooking tonight in just a second okay so I weigh more chips than I had anticipated they were delicious but there’s still plenty left for Eddie but they are very good I am enjoying the spiciness not not spicy so hot you can’t eat it but just that chili flavor I’m really enjoying that right now in that saltiness and that crunch so if you like that also those chips are for you and so are these 4505 pork rinds all right bacon maybe the air over there is it any of it and then let’s put this in the refrigerator and we tonight or making glasses let me get my glasses okay so tonight I am cooking and Aikido for foodies one of my favorite new cookbooks and we are going to first as soon as Eddie gets here we’re making the Blum salts which goes with the chicken dish so I’m going to take out as many of my ingredients oh and one of the things that I like to do I keep my recipe cookbook holder right here just so that it doesn’t take up extra counter space and I just take my little picture out and then I use it I just like the look of it up there and I don’t need two of these in my kitchen so let me give me like open and start taking out everything so we need Mayo Eddie’s picking up a few of the items I’m gonna get everything set out so that I am prepared [Music] [Music] [Music] everybody so here is a look at dinner so we have the roasted radishes with garlic and onions I did put extra mushrooms on my plate because I love sauteed mushrooms and then I have the chicken dish and the sauce the bloom sauce so really really looking forward to this I just smells amazing and I’ll give you a report on how it is I’m doing a little meal prepping this morning with some dark chocolate coconut fat bombs these are one of my favorite treats and I just put them in little cupcake wrappers and inside of these silicone trays and they are absolutely delicious and such a great way to get fat in but also that sweet tooth so let’s get these going this recipe makes 8 cups of the little pieces so make sure you kind of tap this out so that the chocolate lays evenly and then we’ll put this in the freezer in the freezer for plenty of time and I’m gonna take them out and I like to keep them in the refrigerator in an airtight container so we’re just gonna pop these out the recipe says that you get 8 and we actually did and then I’ve already eaten one just to make sure they were good and can I tell you that the coconut that I ordered from Amazon was perfect for this recipe I’ll link that below for you because it is shredded look at that big perfect chain those put the top on in the refrigerator and we’re SEVIS one item down hey everybody so I have a quick target grocery store haul eddie stopped by to be honest i asked him to pick up a yogurt and a heavy cream and he came back with lots of extra stuff which we did me don’t get me wrong so let’s say let’s start over here this is a mixture of quito and non quito because if you’re new to my channel i have a 17 year old son and he eats what he wants to eat and that is perfectly fine he eats a lot of the things that I cook but then I make separate things for him he is a growing boy and eats often so a mixture of chips you know it is summer after all and when he has friends over they just have something to munch on bread for his sandwiches tortilla wraps these are perfect for making his breakfast wraps I’m Eddie we’ll do eggs and sausage and cheese and he’ll roll it up in these and tray absolutely loves it strawberries for our Quito milkshakes cheez-its for tray cheese sticks for Eddie and I slice cheese for tray to make grilled cheese sandwiches and a lot of times we’ll use this cheese for Binks for his little allergy pills we’ll take a piece of it roll it up and he’ll eat it and pepper jack cheese Quito chicken breast this is for tray it’s the alfredo pasta will make him homemade Hamburger Helper and other dishes with that these are for Eddie and it is this Jimmy Dean simple scramblers for breakfast this one is bacon sausage sausage bacon I could not get to Costco today and we’re out of heavy cream for our coffee so he just picked that up for us but I’ll be going to Costco tomorrow to pick that up I am so excited to try this I saw the guy the couple on keto Connect say that this is definitely keto friendly and she’s actually eating them and I am so excited to try that so I’ll give it a taste in a minute so we got two strawberries that strawberry for Eddie a strawberry for me in a vanilla and then hashbrowns for Trey for breakfast so just a quick little haul and that is it it’s a meal prepping for Trey he had it for dinner tonight we took this pasta with the alfredo sauce and this will be for tomorrow and the next day for the wall probably tomorrow for lunch and dinner but what I’m gonna do when I go to Costco tomorrow is get the precooked chicken that he can just heat up and he can have the pasta alfredo and the grilled chicken that they sell so I’ll get that for tomorrow but this will go where she’s put up and I’m really excited to try this so let’s see how it is it’s not overly sweet and I have not had yogurt since September 1st of 2018 so it has been a while so I think it’s good it’s not overly sweet a might well I’ll get used to it but it’s it’s very good it’s nice to have you over it again I’ll be very honest with you great ok it’s pizza night and we have our pizza and he’s putting it together over there and I just want to share with you these pepperonis are so good it’s the Publix deluxe sliced pepperoni and they’re large make a really really good pizza so look Eddie is so good at this he’s kind of our crust maker how great that looks I love pizza night leave me a comment below and tell me what you put on your pizza I do cheese and pepperoni Eddie is going to do cheese pepperoni and olives tonight sometimes he’ll do tomatoes and onions but I’d love to hear what you put on there ok so Eddie is doing something new tonight it’s a take off of one of the pizza chains where they do the stuffed crust and he took a mozzarella cheese stick and sliced the stick so that it was thinner and now he’s gonna make us a crust just like you see and then he’s gonna fold over the crust I feel like this is so exciting in its live reporting as it’s happening all right he’s folding it over so that it will bake inside of the crust oh my goodness this is going to be so good look at that I’ll let you know how it is is out of the oven and look at the crust around the edges the cheese stayed inside so I’m really excited to try this we are about to cut it and I’ll let you know how it is for dinner is the fat head pizza dough we’re gonna try it with the mozzarella inside the crust and cheese and pepperoni so I’m gonna go enjoy and I’ll let you know to share with you I am doing something new I’m starting it tonight tonight a Sunday night and that way it will go tomorrow so typically we don’t eat dinner this late it is 7:30 we just had a lot we were doing around the house today and I downloaded this free app I just found it I watched keto Connect where he did that the three day fast I’m not trying to fast for days at a time what I am trying to do is to stop eating after dinner and not eat again until breakfast and sometimes I end up snacking even though it’s keto friendly snacks I still snack and I don’t want to do that so this tracks your fasting time like a time clock so you have a 13 hour I don’t know what that word is something rhythm and then you have a 16 hour and it’s a 16.8 in a minute fast you have an 18 hour and then you have a 20 hour fast where you eat like one meal a day within a four hour window and then you have a 36 hour fast and then some type of a custom fast like I said I’m not doing this for long periods of time I’m just trying to go as long as I can after I eat dinner which would typically be about 6:00 to 6:30 we would eat and then until in the morning so for now let’s see I’m going to do the 13 hour fast tonight for the first time and I’m allowing it to do and semi fast just started the clock is going and it’ll go for 13 hours so I’ll show you this in the morning let you know how it is good morning everybody so I am let me show you out of my 13 hour fast I am 11 hours and 21 minutes into it so I have about an hour and a half left to go let the camera adjust there we go I have an hour and a half left to go again this is not about not eating to lose weight I’m trying to stop the snacking and this 13 hours is going to work for me because I never eat breakfast and this will actually cause me to if I finish dinner at 6:00 or 6:30 at night well like 6:30 then that would mean twelve hours will be 6:30 in the morning one more hour is 7:30 that’s good then I’ve had my coffee I can take my breakfast to work with me and eat it around 8:30 because I don’t like to eat breakfast right when I wake up I like to enjoy my coffee separately so this is gonna be good because last night I got up three different times just to come in the kitchen and get something to eat you know I walked by getting ready to clean up and picked up the bag of chips that I had a little bit left from lunch and I had only loaded the amount of chips I ate so it’s not like well I already loaded the whole bag of chips why not finish them and then a piece of pizza later on I came out so you know what I think I there’s two more pieces left I’m gonna heat that up and eat one more even though I loaded what I ate and so I think those whole things were getting away from me and this is gonna be pretty eye-opening I’m not trying to do 24-hour fast or you know twenty two hours I’m not looking for that I need my three meals a day but I am trying to stop my snacking and I really think this is gonna do it and Wow so much of it was in my mind as i sat there going oh my goodness you’re a little timers going and it’s telling you you can’t eat you can’t eat you can’t eat I’ll get over that last night was the first night I did the same thing with keto when I first started but pretty eye-opening to see how you’re mindlessly eating things that you don’t even realize so I’m excited for that holding me accountable I’ll keep you up to date on how other than that I’ve packed my items I’ll you know might be office and we’re set to go all right so update on the pizza it was delicious last night absolutely delicious the key was he cut those mozzarella strips really thin and then just kind of laid them like that and then when we put the sauce on we made sure we put nothing around the crust so when we put it back in the oven to melt the cheese that crust got to brown a little bit more I thought it was great what a clever idea so really enjoyed that good morning friends it’s bright and early and I’m about to head out to the office but before I do I thought I would finish a quick recap of this week with our key dough items so starting off and also have my computer right here it always helps me to be able to kind of go back and look at the footage to make sure I don’t leave anything out so starting off with the everything but the lasagna the one thing that I did not share with you was that I’ve made a big side salad to go with that sometimes I forget because I’m sunny with my salads I don’t know if you’re like me I always make them on a separate plate and no matter how big or how small I like to have my salad on a separate little plate and that way it doesn’t get mixed in with my food I don’t mind my food touching but there’s something about my salad I just like it on its own plate but then a lot of times I forget to share that with you so we started off with a delicious salad with homemade ranch dressing some cheese and some bacon bits on it and it was really good I’m Eddie likes to add extra things like olives and radishes and just fill it up and make it really yummy so the everything but the lasagna is one of my favorite recipes I’ll see if there’s an online link and I’ll share that if not I’ll tell you what cookbook that came out of once I go back and look let’s talk about the delivery from Amazon with the Anthony’s organic shredded coconut I’m only purchasing that from now on and I’m actually going to place a backup order they have it on hand one of my favorite favorites that bombs to have if I’m low on fat or if I have a real sweet tooth is the dark chocolate coconut fat bomb and it looks like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup shape and you just put it in your little silicone dish and you put them in a candy wrapper to help them not melt because you don’t want to touch on because it is chocolate but that is in the southern keto cookbook I’m almost positive it’s fabulous it’s two to a serving a lot of times I only need one and I am set they are delicious it reminds me a little bit of an almond joy without that gooey coconut center but it has the coconut flavor well I’ve been having to put with Whole Foods I bought two separate kind of coconuts and I have to put it in my little blender chopper and chop it up finely this is chopped up perfectly for those and I love it so that is something you want to pick up if you like coconut Costco oh my goodness when we went and picked up the chicken I just did not feel like cooking anything I was exhausted it had been a long day had a little bit of a headache just from running around so much in the heat and picking up a Costco chicken taking a can of green beans and making the dinner is so easy and I didn’t even want fast food now when I say fast food I don’t mean your normal fast food I mean keto friendly Popeyes blackened chicken Waffle House omelet what else chick-fil-a filet with the bacon and the cheese I didn’t want any of that I wanted something that tasted homemade and that chicken is kind of our go-to plus it’s a great size the dessert of the Joad of keto donuts are fantastic and I cannot wait to get creative with those I was super excited to find the new pork rinds the 45 out of 5 they are worth the extra money they are fantastic I shared all the different nut butters with you the taco soup is amazing the questions let’s see the dish of the quito for foodies the smothered chicken and the balloon sauce that bloom sauce is going to be a keeper for everything from chicken to fish to our asparagus that we cook and not asparagus Brussels sprouts that we cook in the airfryer that’s gonna be an amazing go-to and I showed you how to make the chocolate or not how to make them but because it’s in a recipe book but that I did make them grocery store haul Eddie’s pizza idea and that he says don’t say it’s my idea because it’s a pizza chain but him recreating it was fantastic I loved the stuffed cheese crust it was a fun different take we won’t do that every single time but it was a great take and I just have to tell you I am absolutely sticking with the app it’s just one there may be better out there and if you have one let me know I just kind of did an app search and then I saw it I read the reviews I looked at how it was prompted and I said I think this will work for me and it really is I love this out I am finding that I was absolutely mindlessly eating in the evening and not even realizing it and I guess maybe I wasn’t thinking to put it in my prompt and calculate my macros or put it in my app I’m really surprised how much of a mind game also it is to not eat and much even if it’s just a couple of almonds and you think that’s not going to matter and then you pick up a couple of Lily’s chocolate chips and then you finish off the little bag of chips you’re loading the dishwasher when I start that app after dinner and any little sweet treat that I decide to have that’s it and it’s making me stronger and stronger so and then I’ll have my breakfast in just a little while once the little app goes off that I’ve met my requirement again I’m not trying to fast and go as long as I can without eating I’m trying to cut out my snack and this is really working for me so I think that is everything I hope you enjoyed it let me know if you have tried
