hello welcome to our channel my name is christy this is my daughter Briley she is 10 over the summer she was diagnosed as hypoglycemic so with her doctor’s permission we started a low-carb ketogenic lifestyle with her she gets around 250 carbs a day to control her blood sugar so in this video I’m gonna show you what I’ve been packing in her lunch and hopefully help give you guys some ideas remember to go ahead and subscribe follow me on Instagram for sneak peeks about let’s get started Raleigh’s lunch for the day I’m going to start here and move this way in this first container I’ve just got some of the questions I’ve showed these before this is the quest tortilla style protein chips and this one is the ranch so far this has been Briley’s favorite these have 19 of grams of protein in it and two for net carbs a serving is one bag but this is not a full serving what I do is I just divide these up and on the day that I open them I will give Briley half a serving and kerrigan my 17 year old half a serving because I mean there’s a lot of chips in this when they’re eating you know the rest of their meal and these are rather expensive I do order these off of Amazon so when I order my kids think yeah there’s eight in a box and they last us a long time I’ve got these right now and I think the chili lime but both the girls say the chili lime aren’t just a tad bit spicy half a serving over here she has half a cucumber with pink salt this is basically a staple because it’s just an easy vegetable that’s a low carb for her to take and then right here is just a little pick so she doesn’t have to use her hands and she can just pick the cucumbers up with that and then the blueberries she’s not a huge blueberry fan so I only put a few in here and again Briley’s carbs can stay around fifty a day she has some nuts I just put some raw almonds in here these aren’t baked or have any seasoning on them or anything and this isn’t even a full serving and then her main dish for the day is just turkey and cream cheese roll ups on a tortilla shell the kid is obsessed with cream cheese at this point she’ll eat it by the spoonful a lot of you guys have asked what tortilla shells that I pick up and this is what it looks like though the extreme wellness high-fiber carb lean you get eight tortillas she gets one half so that’s not even a serving the whole tortilla is one serving so this is just half and these are pretty deep you can see there’s quite a bit in there and so it’s what she’s getting in this tortilla is 25 calories but a whole one is 50 and then she’s getting two grams of protein you know a full serving is four there is a five net carbs in a whole tortilla so she’s getting two and a half net carbs in this I mean she could have the whole tortilla I just don’t think the kid has time to eat it at lunch because she likes to talk so I think it said the whole tour she also has 11 grams of dietary fiber yeah these I just get at Walmart when I do my Walmart grocery pickup haul and they’re that simple she loves them and there’s so many things that you can do with this so with Briley we usually do breakfast for lunch about once a week so today she is taking a baggie full of the magic spoon cereal this one is the fruity and it sort of reminds me of Froot Loops the most I love the pink color that’s so cute she likes these the chocolate and the fruity are her favorite so far she’s not a huge fan of the frosted but sometimes I’ll mix it a little bit of it with the others and she likes it but we’ve not tried the cinnamon yet in her thermos what I do is I put some almond milk this is the unsweetened original so it’s got no sugars and what I’ll do is I’ll go ahead and open up her thermos and pour it in there then sit the thermos in the freezer while I finish getting everything else ready then just close it all up and it keeps it cold until lunch she has half of a quest bar this is her favorite one this one is the mint chunk she also has half of a yoghurt and here’s the yoghurt that she’s taking today it’s the two good yogurts again that’s only half she has about three strawberries in here cut up with a little pick and over here she has a handful of almonds and for the little smart sweets I don’t give her too many I have heard rumor that they spike a blood sugar so I’m not really sure these definitely need to be tested if you guys want to see one of us test these to see if they do spike blood sugar just go ahead and comment below but these are also the fruity flavor and I put her a cute little napkin in here and then a spoon to eat yogurt and her cereal with and that’s it for the day trying something a little different right here and these are the rats that I pick up for her at Walmart they’re just the extreme wellness and a whole rap only has five net carbs but I only give her half a one at four school what I’m doing it today is I put peanut butter and jelly on there so we’ll see how well that goes the peanut butter I use is the crazy Richards 100% creamy and peanut butter and then the jelly that I pick up as a jam and this is at one of my local stores here this is the strawberry sweet jam and it is no sugar added and it’s sweetened with stevia so they have it available at my store in strawberry blueberry and apricot I might be getting apricot next time because I feel like that might be good in the container I gave her a few blueberries she’s not a huge fan so I only give her a few I cut up half a cucumber and it sprinkled out with the pink Himalayan salt I gave her several almonds for fats also a mozzarella cheese stick one of the doctor processes electrolyte mixes and she’ll just mix this with her bottle of water at school that they have like a thermos and then I’m throwing in a quest bar she’s not tried this one yet I don’t think this one is the chocolate peanut butter they have lunch pretty late around 12:30 so her teachers allow them to have a snack around 10:00 if they want and they can just bring their own so I’m letting her take this chocolate peanut butter this a nice 20 grams of protein it says its newly formulated so we’ll see how this one turns out for she has not been a fan of a lot of the other ones so far her favorite is steal the mint chocolate chunk and those are impossible to find so I have to order them online that’s what we’re looking like today but and this is something that I’ve picked up at teaching max for her this past weekend these are just little juice boxes but they’re filled with water this one is water with a dash of organic watermelon with other natural flavors 6.75 ounces no sugar added here’s the nutritional information on that if you’re wondering so we’ll see how that goes we are doing ham and cheese at pinwheels this morning I used half of a tortilla shell and just wrap those up cream cheese two slices of ham and then cut them for her it’s one of her favorite things to take she also has a serving of almonds over here are her quest chips she’s got a half a bag of those a carry-on it took the other half and the ones that they took today we’re the quest tortilla style protein chips and chili lime so they just split that bag usually kerrigan actually gets just a little more these are spicy according to the girls I’m not trying one so I’m not sure but they seem to eat them and like them she also has a cheese stick and that’s just I’m not sure no that one’s not from Aldi this one is from Walmart and then a serving of almonds to cut up strawberries in this cute little pig to eat them with and then half of a quest bar the quest bar is the cinnamon roll or cinnamon bun or something like that it’s a favorite of hers so she’ll eat it and not really complain there’s some that she just won’t touch okay so that’s the lunch for today okay Bradley’s lunch is about the only thing she’ll eat anymore a wrap so inside this wrap I have a cream cheese a little bit of seasoning and two sauces of Turkey and then I just wrap it up that’s it simple these are the extreme wellness low-carb wraps and I picked them up at Walmart I gave her a few blueberries up here she has some atomic spicy pickles and these are from Aldi that those are kept in the refrigerator section they’re over here I gave her some quest chips that these are just the tortilla protein chips in the ranch flavor she took half a bag and you can see we still have half a bottle if I’ll put those in either her lunch tomorrow or Carrigan’s and then she’s taking a cheese stick and a serving of almonds she’ll have one of these for snack before lunch because they eat so late and then the rest of this is there she’ll take her bottle of water and they just fill that up throughout the day that’s it thank you guys so much for watching I hope everyone has an
