Keto Diet Part 3!


hey guys welcome back this is part 2 of my Kido video I hope you enjoyed the last one before we get into this video make sure you hit the subscribe button below and let’s jump into it a lot of people talk about ketosis so ketosis is basically what the keto diet does for your body ketosis is when your body goes into a fat-burning mode where it turns your stored fat into energy so instead of using carbs for energy it converts your stored fat into energy so it burns a whole whole lot of that sort fat that you’re trying to get rid of in my case 30 pounds worth of what it burns your stored fat some people ask me do I track my macros if you’re not sure macros are macros are basically your car your protein and your fats personally I don’t track my macros I try to stick strictly to the diet so you know I limit my carb intake I eat healthy cards I eat the meats that I can eat not fried but I eat a lot of lean meat and then I stick to healthy fats like avocados and different things like that one of the biggest tips that I can give you all when you first start on the keto diet is do not cheat you’re gonna feel tempted it’s gonna be tough right at first but don’t cheat especially right at first I think it was about two or three months in before I had a cheat meal and it’s probably one of my biggest tips just because it’s so tempted to get back into that old lifestyle you know the food it’s gonna be extra gummy you’re gonna eat some dessert some ice cream some snow cones this time of year and you’re going to be tempted to continue in you know that way so don’t cheat or at least for a very long time and then we do cheat don’t go above and beyond you have a cheat meal and get back on pace and I don’t recommend you cheating often you know what your goals are and the more consistent you are the easier it will lead to meet your goals an on-set keto diet but to me Kito is a lifestyle for me I feel amazing eating this way I don’t think I will ever go back to eating completely the way I did before I have tons of energy um I don’t feel burned out I don’t have you know anxiety like I did before it just changes a whole lot with your mood I’m sorry absolutely loving so to me it’s a lifestyle change some people do it just to lose weight and that’s okay too but I even though I’m not trying to lose weight now you know I choose to still pretty much eat in this way so that I can feel my best and be my complete best to me my health and fitness goals um another thing is you know some people think you know you can eat as much as you want you can eat whatever you want no matter what diets wrong what lifestyle you’re trying to get to if you’re trying to be healthy or fit you cannot outwork a bad diet so you you can’t eat everything that you want to think that you can go to the gym and burn it off it’s just not gonna happen so you know try to be consistent try to eat you know the things that you’re supposed to eat them be really strict in the Gatlin’s of what you’re trying to do so you can be here as self as well and Leslie but certainly not least you know why should you do it why should you change you know the way you’re eating or why should you start working out and it’s because you deserve it you deserve to be the best you that you can be Tom and I have faith that you all can do it so I hope you enjoyed this video like I said it it’s not an all-inclusive so if I lift something out please leave me questions or comments below and I’ll see you guys in the next one
