KETO DIET GROCERY HAUL | Buying On A Budget | Ketogenic & Low Carb Food List


what is up guys welcome back to the channel today I have a grocery haul for you guys what I decided to do with this one was take some examples from other youtubers that I watch like goodie Beats and Jason went rock take some other food ideas and implement them into this grocery haul so what you’re gonna see here is a vast variety of keto foods I know what you’re thinking if you’re currently on the keto diet some of this you might have seen if you are not you’re brand new this is gonna really tell you everything you need to be buying to be successful on this diet that was one thing about keto you may not have the biggest party list in the world but what you do get has to be very specific to make sure you are not throwing yourself out of ketosis so if you guys are ready to get this epic video started and as always let’s do [Music] [Music] now before we get into all these foods in this grocery haul I want you guys to do something for me yesterday was my birthday hit that thumbs up button for a birthday and comment below and guess how old you think I am how what do you think I am grant 35 35 hey hey call me way is down below an amazing birthday by the way but uh we’re here for ketose let’s get to that so I don’t really have a specific way I do this if you wash me before you know we really just I show you what I bought I explain why I bought it and here we go so if you’re new to the channel hit that subscribe button we do stuff like this all the time so let’s get started I’m gonna get the the easy thing out of the way and that is gonna be a so what these eggs are our natural cage-free grain Fred Organic omega-3 fatty acids and to be completely honest I don’t normally buy this type of eggs I figured I’d buy today to have a little different from like the normal eggs I’m buying but I mean with these that you’re getting more omega threes eggs are great man proteins fats you cannot go wrong in a very versatile and one thing I’ve been doing a lot lately with my eggs this is like an everyday meal for me but I absolutely love is taking an avocado and mixing with my eggs and fry them up both together these avocados I buy them in a four pack here forgiver keto you get your fiber in very low carb the net carb count is very low which is you guys you know you understand that when you were counting your carbs you’re taking your carb counting total for the day and subtracting fiber so super high in fiber you get a lot of micronutrients in here a lot of vitamins a lot of minerals really helps to keep me healthy let’s that a skin shine that won’t your birthday’s come people don’t think you’re 35 years old he’s fired avocados I buy them in the little pouch like this do you save some money but uh we were actually kind of debating if you guys know this let me know um I’m squeezing this avocado this thing’s like rock solid right do you buy them soft do you buy um rock solid I’m a wrong song type of guy myself but if you like it softer how I figure supposed to buy of soft let me know see how acardo’s great for keto by the way check those now so movin em you might go do some more veggies while we’re here get these out of the way spinach baby once again very volumizing full of micronutrients are some protein in here and it is very low carb a lot of fiber makes digesting your food easier and the biggest thing with keto guys who can get on them is they think all you’re eating cheese and bacon all the time you’re not getting this stuff in your leaving some incredible health benefits and stuff like that off the table if you want to feel optimal on keto like true ketosis not just bacon and cheese but having them old plethora of vitamins minerals and all that stuff that’s the key to overall help no matter what diet you’re on man so if you’ve been avoiding greens take them if not you can take a green supplement like you know greens or something like that take both heck best of both worlds and then asparagus which I will say is probably oh the secret Kito vegetable ingredients pressure to shred that bag but asparagus extremely low carb extremely filling high in fiber once again micronutrient our house that is essential on keto making sure you’re getting all of those in I just talked about that so we will move right along or asparagus not too bad little pro tip cut the bottoms off and you cook them because that stuff’s not good so pro tip then we’ll move over to sliced white mushrooms they have a little more carbs in them and some of these other options but for me a few of these aren’t really gonna affect my overall calories or carb count that much if i mix meals like my eggs or my avocados i tried to usually get all my vegetables in like right away when I bring my fast first meal is eggs avocado spinach and then I’m kind of throwing it all in and the rest of day I really have a lot of veggies unless it is like some asparagus later on but I skipped that a lot moving here now we’re gonna have almonds that we bought the thing with almonds is going to be you got to be careful with these they’re higher in carbohydrates each serving has 5 grams of carbs 3 grams of fiber these actually aren’t that bad or these ones but a lot of your flavored ones are gonna have a lot higher carb so be careful with almonds so I don’t need a lot of these but you know it’ll help on a diet and the next up we have almond butter I love Barney butter this is probably the lowest car version I found but even still per serving you have 4 grams of carbs so it’s always recommended keep your cars below 20 grams a day on keto that for me is optimal not for most people from the research I’ve done is off towards chemos carbs as long as you can in general was awful but something like nuts and almond butters you got to be careful carbs a little higher but great for like a quick little snap you’re on the go you want some fats and protein boom right there would not be a grocery haul talking about keto without coconut oil the most overhyped food on this planet it’s good for your skin it’s good for your hair it’s good for everything I never put on my skin I don’t know but it’s really healthy fats really good if your brain really good for everything man coconut oil if it’s like Father’s Day or something you got a birthday coming up man just get him a tub of coconut oil love you forever man you’re given the gift of health or for your 35th birthday or for your 30th birthday fire alright so let’s go to i okay we’re getting to all the good stuff too but I’m kind of going around this little thing here we’re gonna cop here but it’s kind of move into this I know you guys want me to talk about some cheese so my last keto video I made I had Kraft cheese I got a lot of crap for X it was highly processed I didn’t realize cheese was any different than cheese I just never really thought about it but apparently processed versatile processed cheese there’s big differences so we went deli style this time I got me some mozzarella which probably my favorite cheese’s than a classic cheddar you can’t go wrong make yourself some meat throw some cheese on a Hector some cheese in your eggs you’re good here the only diet that really lets you have dairy man you know it’s a winner and then for meats we got some organic ground beef now I don’t normally buy organic much of anything because like it’s usually $3.00 more and I’m just like I mean I don’t know I mean is there any science behind that I’m gonna eat the organic and I gained 20 pounds of lean muscle I don’t know you know it’s the other stuff giving me some sort of disease I can’t cure in 10 years I don’t know boy I bought organic just for this video because I want you guys to get the best versions of whatever you can get so organic ground beef this is 85/15 normally about 8020 with other guys I’m always buying lean meats but this one you got to buy the fatty meats because your macros are different man you’re eating more fat than protein unlike some of the other diets so the less lean the better we also got these are gonna be good to make we got ourselves some beef short ribs here I am excited to try these out I’m a big rib man once again with keto it’s like fats and proteins so that’s a lot of meats do a lot of things you’re not doing on a regular diet so gonna give these guys it go and then this thing looked fun I was at the grocery store I was like you know what that looks like fun so I got it this is a peppered bacon wrapped tenderloin fillet so essentially if you can see there it’s like a steak with bacon or after I think got pinned in there if you can see yeah yeah that pin we got the pin the bacon pinned around it so yeah the steak wrapped in bacon I mean that sounds good to me you know how they like it I seen that and I was like instant purchase though there were 10 for 10 I might have done that so we got one of those once again you know no carbs and you always want to check that nutrition label like look at this right here there’s one gram of carb in this entire thing so you always want to check that cuz some of this bacon and things like that or cured with sugar or gonna be extra carbs in them you don’t really realize for instance like I was at a cookout the other day this lady came up and she said I’m on keto as she’s getting her stuff from the cookout hold the leg issues with she couldn’t eat bread but she reaches down and grabbed a bag of potato chips so when I see stuff like that I’m like a little education goes a long way so when I make these videos I try to explain things in such a way that like you understand because like knowledge is always power so double check your bacon some of its cured and sugar you don’t want that roast beef we got from the deli this stuff is once again Dawson I eat all the time not something I really in general but for keto it can be good quick grab and go just make sure you know the nutrition facts and you are solid and if you buy the processed packaged stuff wasn’t there study that came out said I was like linked to cancer right like a number one thing so yeah deli versions might still be cancers but hey what you don’t know won’t hurt you actually well that was a terrible analogy and we are moving on I got myself to natural ground bison patty these things are incredible we got two patties in here and they’re already pre weighed so literally you take it out cook it real quick you were good to go stop one of the cheese is on ahead may put some roast beef on and make yourself a crazy cool custom sandwich you know what I mean so not too bad bison is a great meat expensive flavors good if you like um hard to explain the flavor of like bison it’s like ground beef but a little more you know an amino a little more wild so if you haven’t tried to give it a try perfect for keto and the mate the main thing I will say that the main protein I do do is grumpy most all the time Iquitos goes so easy and I seen this from another youtuber I have not actually eaten easy yet on keto but he had the suggestion I was like hey why not this is natural hardwood smoked all beef hot dogs that are made with beef brisket so I was looking at the macros on them it’s 18 gram of fat 1 gram of carb per 8 protein maybe beef brisket though so I’ve not tried these yet but kind of the creativity you can have with somebody diets other thing about like finding little things like you might love these alright I’d be perfect for your diet or you might love this thing right give you something you can eat every day except follow my eyes the same I kind of eat the same types of foods every day I don’t mind doing that and it just makes life a little easier so never know you love this it’s gonna be like your thing you look forward to on keto right so the ice cream you looking forward to that bacon-wrapped steak it’s all about finding those little things man the little things in life okay where we add we got the beat dogs up speaking a bacon got our uncured sundae bacon now what I loved about this for instance it’s been uncured which means there’s not any special seasoning or crazy way that they like dyrdek Roger Houston it was but this one hasn’t been cured so this is stuff infectious so what we have here is 5 grams of fat no carbs and 4 grams of protein a lot of the Bacon’s you look at they’re gonna have carbs there so just make sure if you see like a maple cured bacon or you see anything like that it’s not gonna be ideal for your diet so bacon always a staple mix that with my eggs lately I’ve been eating as much bacon though I prefer my eggs my avocado my spinach like all that in one meal and then Bacon’s kind of do I want bacon not eat it every day but it’s really good though ok quick little snack here uncured you know a salami same exact thing uncured you are getting anything extra 7 grams of fat 8 grams of protein per 1 ounce of this so not bad once again another quick little snack keto is all about eliminating those carbs so things like crackers things like really just bout anything even fruit for instance like as you see here we don’t have any fruit on this table and that is with fruit I mean yeah it’s good for you well you’re getting a lot of sugar and a lot of carbs a very high glycemic and I can knock you out if you toeses which is the goal here is to keep your body in a fat-burning state we’re just burning fat and making gains all over the place you can’t do that if you’re eating a lot of fruits so that’s why I recommend pushing these veggies really hard getting in your asparagus your avocado everything you can like that to make sure that you’re missing out on a crucial food group you’re good so you lose snacks like that though that incorporate snacks like this which is really good and then what do we got here make sure I miss nothing ok next up we got ourselves some salmon portions now we’ll say oh that’s not presents gross alright we’ll flip it around salmon right there salmon is a great meat I’m not gonna lie I don’t eat salmon a ton once again I seen the suggestion in the videos like you know what life is about experimentation can’t say you don’t like it if you’ve never tried it not tried salmon it’s not bad but we’ll give it another shot on the wrong keto mini mic my hunger for fats will be a little higher now so salmon once again a great meat jorgito and moving kind of into our final stuff here seasonings now when people ask me about seasoning I’m not real crazy with them mainly my two things I’m gonna salt guy but I do pink Himalayan sea salt and garlic and sea salt Kito like I’ve talked about in past videos you have something called the keto blue words from a lack of electrolytes in your system and a lot of that for some reason when you’re on keel you’ll have those carbohydrates in it flushes a lot of those salts and everything on your system so a lot of that headache the drowsiness stuff like that is a result of not having enough salt so unlike some other diets where they’re like don’t sold it on keto they’re like great could top off and dump the whole thing in so that’s a busy what I’ve been doing that’s nice my stuff just natural seasoning Aikido a lot of stuff has flavor in it knowing that natural I listen you back there laughing I see it I can’t even talk here I have thrown me off natural fats and flavors are in a lot of this food so it’s already like legit so a little bit of salt you are golden and that’s not anything to with other seasonings you’re not on keto a lot of seasonings have a lot of carbs in them the talk of seasoning I was using had 4 grams of carbs per serving they’re like 70 servings and the thing oh my boy leave it to the talk of seasoning to mess the whole diet up huh damn you Ortega so yeah oh and we got some black peppercorn here peppercorn you know pepper and then finally finally finally finally I drink a lot of coffee when I want keto a ton of coffee one thing I did for ever was to take my coconut oil mix it with my coffee and boom tastes pretty good kind of get you some fast in the morning some nutrition keto coffee like to call it some peel blend heavy whipping cream and stuff into an ayah with all that I just want a spoon in there stir it up and we good but with these these are Omega power creamers which are creamers created by the Omega power creamer company they have flavors this one’s grass-fed ghee the original blend I was looking for a Louvre name of it but grass-fed ghee I have no idea what that is but it didn’t taste bad when I tried original blend okay that’s the flavor this one’s cow cow which is a chocolate I would have just put chocolate but hey cow cow so you have 14 grams of fat for nothing else so it’s good organic grass-fed ghee milk and cultures I don’t know what he is but this stuff tastes really good and they assured me it was healthy I’m taking their word for it and this one is vanilla flavored so a mega power creamer these are really cool but those you that are coffee addicts and you’re adding a lot of sugar things I got your coffee if you’re on keto you can’t do that anymore and a lot of your dreamers and even if you feel like a fat-free creamer it’s basically just sugar you got to be very careful with what you put your coffee so something like this that’s good or even just your coconut oil is ideal so one Eva Shop these guys though because they did send me these for free they were extremely good their website is power creamer calm if you want to check them out appreciate you guys as always and I think man is that everything on this grocery list is not thanks oh I’m so I think we covered everything after looking as you can see this isn’t a very complex assortment of items you just gotta make sure on keto you’re buying the right things because like I said with that lady I have to cook out if that even made it into this video that a lot of people they think they know what something is but in reality they didn’t do the research or do not have the knowledge behind it’s know like what you can and can’t eat so like like she princess thought she was on the keto diet seed potato chips man so it’s like you’re not really in ketosis so just be mindful we gotta watch the video again do that you got hit the thumbs up button again don’t cuz our one thumb it and then we’re down one that was not a good idea I think that’s it though man we are out of here so rue quit this whole trip cost me $84 and 45 cents this should last me for a while for those of you wondering write off the receipt so we’re gonna wrap this up man I gotta go meet my dad for my birthday here in like two hours we’re gonna eat again so like I said guess my age down below these guys they’re gonna be meaning they’re gonna put
