good morning welcome to day 11 I hope you are as excited as I am about this day probably you’re not because you don’t know I have such great stories for you today I’ve hinted at it a little bit I’m super thankful to have gotten through the sciency stuff the last day or two and now I can just tell stories which is my favorite the science kind of stresses me out I like had to really read my notes for a long time and practice it to try to get all that right um just because it like the words kind of they don’t stick in my mind for whatever reason which is kind of ironic if you think about it since I’m going to be talking about brain health but um ketones do a lot but you still have your natural tendencies that don’t change just because you’ve been in ketosis for a couple years and so anyway all of that to say that I am very excited about this story today so I’ve got two stories for you one is about a doctor named Mary Newport and I have been super blessed to be able to hear her speak in person I don’t know six or seven times when I go to events to learn more about ketones and she is just she’s insanely precious and just just an amazing amazing woman who was a huge pioneer for where we are with the keto with the keto diet with exogenous ketones she’s a huge pioneer and all of that and I don’t want to tell too much about her story because I want you to see it for yourself because I cannot do it justice um but her husband got Alzheimer’s in his early 50s and he she was just determined to help find a cure for him and so she started giving him coconut oil and his results are just incredible and what what happened with his story was unbelievable and she became so passionate about it that she just would talk to anyone who would listen she actually when I you know when I’ve heard her speak she’ll talk about going around from like in putting pamphlets on people’s cars just because you know it was before the internet was really big and she just wanted to spread the word so that people would know that and that oil is so great for your brain and then if you’re having brain you know challenges or you’re having Alzheimer’s or if you’re struggling with these things that ketones are the answer ketones through coconut oil okay so think back to yesterday and coconut oil put in the comments coconut oil is what kind of triglyceride see if you remember from yesterday but she became really passionate about coconut oil seeing the changes that happened with her husband he has since passed away from Alzheimer’s but just to hear her talk about it and just to hear her love for her husband and what she did for him um literally every time she like walks onto the stage I just start like crying not just like the little tears of my eyes but like crying like just as soon as I see her just because I know what’s coming and I know her story and just her she has the neatest neatest spirit and so anyway um this so what she did was take and take what she learned from studying coconut oil and implementing like the very best of coconut oil and formulated it with prove it into this product called 1:43 and I’ll probably cry when I tell you that’s that look with this stage you guys know what 1 for 3 stands for I love you it’s the number of letters in each of the words I mean so anyway and on the back it has a brain and a heart equals I equals 1 for 3 I can’t even you all think I’m crazy but once you see the video listen here’s your challenge for today I’ll just go ahead and tell you your challenge for today is to watch the video and I want to know in the comments did you cry am I the only one who tears up when I see this sweet story anyway that’s that’s one of your challenges for today is to watch this video if you have time and it’s worth it ok so that is my first story of the day is the 143 how it got formulated and you know if you don’t want to buy vervets products please just put a lot of coconut oil in whatever you are using if you have kids sneak some coconut oil and your kids just to help with their brain benefits what’s interesting is you know he had Alzheimer’s I’m giving away some of the story but I can’t help it he had Alzheimer’s and she started reading about the power of coconut oil and thought I might as well try and so she started like sneaking it into his oatmeal so he was not doing a keto diet at all I mean he was eating you know she put the coconut oil in his oatmeal so he was getting full carbs you know with his toast and overtime just from getting those high fats he actually started like not winning sweets and things as much and started because his body was producing ketones because remember that coconut oil is going like straight to his liver and producing ketones and he actually started like having fewer cravings and so even if you have you know people in your family who are fighting you on Nikita diet which I that’s my life and you get into coconut oil and good things will start coming okay that’s my first story my second story is about my daughter her name is Aubrey she is 17 now but when she was 15 she started having just some weird like glitchy things in her brain almost kind of like someone would who had dementia and it was very it was it was very concerning and she’s a healthy 15 year old she’s a very high achiever I’m in her room right now like a meticulous straight-a overachiever kind of person who always wants to do a good job super people pleaser and she started like five or six times a day she would have weird memory lapses like weird not I told you to take out the trash you didn’t do it to major stuff it was like she would send me a text and say hey mom can Kayleigh spend the night this weekend I’d say sure and literally 15 minutes later she would send me a message and say am i doing anything this weekend I’m like I’ve read you yeah Kayleigh spending the night like you just look up at your previous text like you just asked me if she could spend the night and I’m basically old and I can remember this like you should not be forgetting this because you’re the one that asked at it it was stuff like that multiple times a day to the point where it was it was concerning we actually went to see some doctors and we were pretty concerned about her and she was very frustrated you know she’s a people pleaser and there was one situation it’s kind of a long story doesn’t really matter in the details but she something happened that she forgot something and then she forgot like a second thing that compounded the first part of the situation and then like a third thing and it wound up inconveniencing several different people in our family and we had to rearrange schedules and it was like a hot mess because she had forgotten several things in one day and it just tore her up she was just crying and said you know mom I it’s one thing if it affects me but it’s starting to affect all the people around me like what are we gonna do at about the same time prove it came out with the 143 so of course I was like start putting this in your smoothie every day she drinks ketone so she put it in with her with her Kido she still does every day and um so you know of course I mean you know my teenagers think I’m complete lunatic right they think I’m crazy I make these videos they can’t believe anyone would actually watch these videos I think I’m a little crazy right but she’s people pleaser so she started drinking it and a couple months later I started noticing like okay it was five things a day and now it’s like one thing a day and then it went down to like maybe once a week that she was having these we call them glitches where she just forgot things that she shouldn’t be forgetting and so it was huge so for a year like we kept seeing better and better improvements and we were really excited to see kind of her old self coming back then a year later so um I think it was last Christmas you know she’s off schedule for the Christmas break and by the end of the Christmas break she had a day where she forgot several things and I said Audrey are you taking your 1 for 3 and her eyes got real big and she said oh my gosh I have not been taken it because a Christmas break and just a few weeks of not taking it like she was backed you know took kind of where she was before not as bad because it has some residual effects um so instead of it being five times a day maybe she was doing two of these things a day um but he she got right back on it and she is faithful with it now she’s a camp counselor in the summer and she takes her smoothie like she takes the M nutribullet with her her pedo packs for one for three her almond milk like she realizes the power that it has for her brain and she is 100% a believer and it really cool just yesterday we were talking and she um I can’t okay I can’t remember but she was just saying something and she remembered a thing that had happened a couple years ago and she said mom I never would have remembered this before like she is celebrating the advances that she’s making cognitively and she has been drinking this so it’s been very powerful for my family like just life-changing she was really really frustrated and now she’s able to just be a people pleaser and be a high achiever and do all the things and not not be um you know whatever it is that you know I do have Alzheimer’s in my family my mom she has refused to change her diet which is fine I just know that it’s like part of the journey for her but she has been drinking ketones for a few years and she can see like she was starting to get um some like signs of dementia and she is she is getting back some of her cognitive health which is just it’s so incredible to see I’m very thankful for the power of ketones in my own family um but a cool thing about mom is they’re kind of very well known at their church and my dad like as an associate pastor and so she like everyone knows who she is and she was getting to the point where she dreaded going to church on Sundays because she knew that people would come up to her and talk to her and she never could remember anyone’s name and now she’s she’s just so happy because she can go and she remembers she remembers people’s names and the only thing that’s changed is just drinking ketones oh it’s just it’s powerful it’s powerful when you see people’s lives being changed and I’m so thankful that this is what I get to do is help change lives all the time it’s really cool to see who I knew today was going to get me I mean it’s a lot of really good stories that I’ve gotten to see from other people and then experience personally so your challenge for today stay low carb of course fat remember you’re kind of between 70 100 100 if you can and and your carbs you are trying to be between 20 and one-third of your body weight getting lower and lower next next week we’re going to go down to a fourth of your body weight just to keep pushing ourselves and watch the video about Mary Newport if you don’t have time I know some days are just crazy you don’t have time to watch a video and what are you gonna do okay if you don’t have time to watch the video you truly don’t have time and you can just kind of go online and find some article about coconut oil and brain benefits because that’s our topic for today and but if you have time to watch the video please let me know if
