Keto Chow Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Cream filled Sandwich Cookies


hi I’m probably from quito Chow business Tapani hi we have our main key the double chocolate-chip cream filled sandwich cookies with our chocolate Kido Wow this is a fun recipe it’s got a couple steps but they are fairly simple if you don’t want to make sandwich cookies you could always just make the cookies or just fries yeah or just make the cookies and these are double chocolate chocolate chips sugar-free chocolate chips and our chocolate keto Chow as our flour replacement and we’re just gonna start it up so I’ve got one egg whatever one of them will work we’re lucky enough to have all sorts of equipment to choose from a little bit you could do this with a hand mixer too if you wanted to I just like to use a whisk and then our oil and I just like to break up the egg a little bit before I mix of the other ingredients it just makes it easier to see the secret the secrets and your sweetener so that’s 1/2 a cup of a granulated sweetener of your choice or if DePaul alley lohse I’ve just recently started using alley those alley lows will make these cookies a little bit more moist and tender and sort of soft baked I still got my fabulous okay good deal and our vanilla extract [Music] and once that’s all mixed together we’re going to mix in our dry ingredients this is one cup one measuring cup which is just over two packets or two scoops of chocolate keto child and just to pump up the chocolate flavor we’ve got a tablespoon of cocoa powder and get our baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and this is just a little trick sometimes for chocolate flavored things I like that just a little bit of cinnamon 1/2 a teaspoon quarter teaspoon it just gives it a slightly nuanced flavor a little different without making it taste like cinnamon see this is why we have a chef that helps us because I would have never thought to quit and also sometimes if you want to up your chocolate flavor you can put in dry espresso powder or um instant coffee now I’m just gonna it’s getting a little thick on me so I’m just gonna move over to my spatula the thing about what sometimes things just get stuck in them it happens it wants to stay it’s definitely a cookie cutter isn’t it yeah it really is I didn’t have had a lot of fun making cookies with the keto Chow and we didn’t even have any other flour to this we didn’t entity almond flour or coconut [Music] and then last but not least we’re gonna mix in our chocolate chips if you don’t have awesome say those are the sugar free coke oh yeah this is a from Coco Paulo superfoods they’re sugar free milk chocolates I think they call them buttons mini buttons I would use their chocolate a lot it’s really nice and it’s sweet with only erythritol and stevia and it has a it’s good chocolate you can work with it and if you worked if you don’t have access to sugar-free chocolate chips you can get you know extra dark chocolate and just chop it up just leave them out all right we’re gonna scoop out our dough into 8 equal portions here works cuz we want to end up with four sandwich cookies eight cookies I love cookies scoops yeah my your cookies look all exciting says all the same songs yeah and also you know that you’re getting even an amount which is a big deal if you have like if you’re selling them for instance or you’ve just got you know kids who really notice things like that somebody got a bigger cookie there’s a little extra here I’ll just dole it out among the cookies yeah they actually it so it should be you know you want they’re gonna spread it out a little bit you want like a nice sized cookie and uh you do need to just pack these down a little bit into shape give them room so when they spread out they don’t just completely run into each other all right now we’re just gonna pop those in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes okay can we frosting while they’re baking yeah well and we’re going to make the filling for the cookies while the cookies bake the filling has to chill a little bit the cookies need to cool down and then we’ll put them together and for our filling this is just uh basically an icing so we’ve got a butter nice unsalted butter just gonna whip that up a little bit softened of course unsalted butter [Applause] it’s not long until start gradually adding in my spirit this should be powdered a confectionery style treatment usually irreparable [Music] and that’s it it’s gonna be a little on the thick side because we wanted to pull together in Sandwich so sort of along the lines of a dare I say ended up Oreo cookie filling so it’s it’s thicker than like a typical cake icing that’s it we’re just gonna chill down and wait for cookies to finish baking and assemble everything when it’s running about and we’re back we are putting the cream for a filling into our cookies and these are soft baked cookies they’re actually quite soft and moist inside and this is a fairly stiff filling so I need to be extra careful you need to be a little careful just so you don’t smash your cookie and then you can just put it right in the center a nice sort of mashed on my cookies so that they’re the same size and you kind of just twist it on there I had a chocolate chip escape and then we can chill those if you want to clean it up a little bit you can just go around with your knife or your spatula but I think they look I didn’t feel like quite as well as hers it’s not nearly as resident and let’s just do one more mm-hmm that’ll be our okay here we go you’re are seeing this time make smaller cookies bake them a little less longer 5 to 7 minutes maybe and make more so instead of having four you could have eight or ten miniature cookies and these actually you can pop these in the freezer too and then just pull them out of the freezer so if you want to make them in advance and just have a little treat in the freezer many ones are good for that okay I have to make it look pretty I have the sad one and the bigger one should I make add more to this frosty okay like an Oreo twisted open yeah there we go and yeah I mean honestly that’s a super indulgent cookie with a lot of filling so you might find that you eat half of it so if you want to make a smaller one but it just was funny just felt fun to make an enormous bag and be super luxurious with it there we go this is your I waited all week to have a treat yeah I just got that from the gym and I’m having a protein cookie because don’t forget the entire cookie is made out of healthy fat and protein there’s our super duper protein haha thanks for watching you
