KETO CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!


hi everybody this is beach cricket and today we are going to have another keto dish it’s gonna be a baking item so it’s gonna be fun chocolate chip keto cookies yeah doesn’t that sound good that’s what we’re gonna do alright and oh I got a boo-boo let me show you my booboo okay see this redness here well a yellow wasp stung me right where my vein is right there a little bit up that little red spot there I can’t tell it anyway and then over here and I put I took some benadryl and I put some calamine lotion on there so now what I’m gonna do or in the refrigerator and I held that on my arm all day long too but let me show you what I’m going to be putting on it now so doesn’t that look lovely I tell you what those old-fashioned remedies of using what nature has out here works a lot so I always tried those first and I know this is gonna help me an awful lot just thought I’d share that with you this is an Amish recipe it’s a black drawing salve and I don’t know if y’all are very familiar with them these type of recipes but these were the old-fashioned recipes that everybody back in the day made by natural ingredients and whenever I have any kind of malady I try to find something that’s natural and so I bought this online and I did buy it through Amazon and it’s got all natural ingredients and it’s just really really good you can see the website right there but I have used this numerous times on different situations where I needed something like this and it works really really good so let me show you what it looks like see if I can get it off there you go it’s just like it says it’s a black drawing sev looking stuff and it’s it’s amazing so just want to let you know give you a little tip about that sometimes I forget to tell you about things that I use and that work and it might help you a few steps along the way to know a little remedy that might help you out along the way I don’t know why I didn’t put this on when I got the wasp sting I was just more concerned about hurry it up and taking a benadryl and then putting something cold on it so but anyway this works great the first ingredient for our keto chocolate chip cookies is almond flour and it’s one and a half cups so we’ll get our measuring cup one and a half cups of almond flour and 1/2 teaspoon of a baking powder to go in there – ok now we’re doing a 1/2 a teaspoon of whatever that is how you pronounce that it is that is like cornstarch but it with low carbs it’s another form of it instead of using cornstarch you use that I’m not even going to attempt to even try to pronounce that and I am going to do 1/2 a cup of stevia you can either do that or do let’s see how much is the monk fruit 3/4 cup of monk fruit sweetener so you can do either/or on that it’s getting in there and again and again it’s time to sit this all up so we’re sitting all the dry ingredients first so here we go and there it is all sifted up all pretty so the next thing we’re gonna do is we’re going to mix up the wet ingredients together and then we’re going to put them together and the last thing is the chocolate chips and I use the the dark sugar-free Lilly chocolate chips so that it will be even less on the sugar and less on the carbs so we’re going to do a half a cup of butter and we’re going to use a teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 egg and start mixing it up mix it up really good and then we’re gonna add the chocolate chips I love my shirt just thought I’d show to you also lookie here I like mixing it up with a fork you know the old-fashioned way cuz when you use a blender it makes a lot of air into the dough and makes it airy and I don’t like that that texture to the cookies so that’s how I do my dough just like that alright let’s get those chips in there ok now I use the Lily’s dark chocolate less sugar less carbs and it’s supposed to only be 3/4 cups but I like chocolate chips so I’m doing a full cup there they go let’s get that baby all stirred up so there they are all mixed up together now if you want nuts you can put nuts in here too like a half a cup of nuts along with this it will do just fine I’m just gonna do chocolate chip cookies today I I’m just gonna mood for that and so now it’s time to put them on the baking sheet and so all you do is you take a little teaspoon and you drop them on a parchment lined baking sheet or if you sprayed the baking sheet whatever and space them about a half inch or an inch apart and then bake it 350 for about 10 minutes you kind of keep an eyeball on them and then take them out of the oven and let them cool okay I am I’m out of parchment paper so I am just going to take a little brush and just gently put the oil across the whole baking tray back and forth and cover this so that it’ll be ready for the cookies yeah that’s what I’m doing okay and so I think I went a little bit bigger than the regular teaspoon I mean I’m in a little over cuz I just thought I’d like it to be a little bit more chunkier so I’m hoping I have enough space in between all that but don’t they look good so we’re gonna put these babies in the oven and see how they spread out hope they don’t run together anywhere we’re gonna try here we go so let’s test out the cookie dough see how we like it mm-hmm [Music] yep that’s gonna work out really good yeah okay so they’re in there looking good and so now it’s the waiting game yummy [Music] okay now I want to just remind you of something while we’re waiting for those cookies to bake those kids chuckling tip cookies make sure that you at least do this every so often whatever is convenient for you but please try to do it use um sanitary wipes disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer you can use that on on a wipe or on a paper towel whatever clean your phone’s you’ve got in your hand constantly all of us nomads that are on the road clean those steering wheels do that I mean there are so many things all the knobs that you normally touch do that clean it every now and then at least once a month or more I would do more because your hands are touching everything and you’re spreading germs all over the place and especially when you’re cooking you need to be really clean and keep those hands clean but you know you think about it all the stuff that you touch daily and a lot of us nomads out here we’re doing a thousand things and when we get around to washing our hands we are like what all that was on my hands for sure so do it more often than you normally do there’s just so many things that you need to to wipe off so that’s my little tip for today on health okay and here’s the finished product these turned out so good they’re light and crispy I didn’t flatten them down I just did the dollop on the baking pan and they didn’t spread out they just held their form the almond flour does a wonderful texture to the chocolate chip cookies oh my goodness they’re light and airy and crispy and just a whole dimension the whole dish kind of dimension I’m very pleased with this yeah Kito chocolate-chip cookies for the win so I hope you tried these keto chocolate chip cookies cuz you’re gonna love them wake up and live everybody have your adventures enjoy your life get out
