to understand look for them discovered in their catalog so technically ago and they are basically made out of flour which upsets me because they’re called echoes that you’d made out of egg but never mind and never worry because not me I cannot take credit for this but Keita Oki on instagram came out with the stupidest simplest recipe for something that very much resembled an angle an actual waffle I go dingy and again I have never tried the egg goes so I cannot necessarily bow for that but I understand why this is the base where you can start to build up amazing things from it’s just two ingredients to start off now I have my personal opinion that on what can be added to improve on it but the amazing thing is you indeed just need two ingredients to make this happen on the most basic level and you’re gonna need eggs and she is shredded whichever kind of you have around amazing now on my personal experience from the previous test I would add some kind of season and the good thing is if the cheese that you use is actually mozzarella you can technically season it in a sweet way so think about adding a little bit of a syrup a little bit of cocoa maybe you will have sweet waffles and everybody’s happy again I would die the mozzarella for that for the saver is the very least that I would advise is to add some bit of salt because otherwise you know the fear that everybody has in Keita that oh is that Brad gonna taste Eddie it is because it’s literally egg in this case so I think that if you season it the crispy part of the cheese along with the egg will bring a good flavor that is not just oh I’m eating egg which is the reason why my personal addition to this is going to be to add the very least brush the waffle maker with salted butter also this combo as you can see the three of them is the entire concept behind the neg fast which is one egg to one tablespoon of fat to one ounce of cheese boom that’s why it’s like fast friendly and I think that making it this way we’ll just make it much much easier to have them around and just keep on doing your egg first I have been thinking about actually we’re doing a video about egg fast because I already made one it’s pretty much complete and explains why the original ten rules are actually valid and what are just not and you can skip but one thing that I didn’t mention there and I’ve learned in this last year is about the importance of glucose radical ketogenic amino acid which basically explains why eggs are technically you can slightly go over in protein and personal even having very low protein in a day I can’t like to go over when it’s X and the reason being that they are high in lysine and Laos in those are ketogenic amino acid meaning that whilst they actually repair them build whatever was needed when they go to energy they don’t go to become glucose they go to become ketones that explains why it’s easier to not get out of pitocin go slightly over on protein that way but yeah if you would be this case there’s nothing lovely waffle maker Jacqueline really really nice I got the smallest one that there was because the original Makita okay she actually makes in this very cute annoys is no waffle maker that I think she got from Walmart or Target if you’re in the u.s. you can get it for like $10 and that’s amazing UK we don’t have them that small we have them now but Urban Outfitters imports it from the US and it costs like 20 25 quid which if you ask me it’s not worth it because these is basically as big just divided in for you find the link to this down in the description below now the moment you plug this in it starts so be ready my idea is to actually again speed it with butter which is gonna be the first thing that I put in and as usual the butter the better again this is measured to be tablespoon of fat which is butter to an ounce of cheese fake anger as usual if you are wondering if your butter is good tasting it on its own it’s a very good idea to get how it’s properly flavored and this is really good but it’s just the as the one probably because here in the UK again every butter is actually grass-fed so easy enough nail the bastard me a lot of its melting already first things first we started to spread the cheese around this is gonna give us the outside layer we know Chris in mind now you don’t have to wait for these to actually start burning up we can drop the egg in now because my waffle maker is slightly bigger than keto Oki out of three eggs I’m gonna probably get two more four she gets four but again they are slightly quite smaller actually they’re just round ones as egg goes are these are slightly bigger but again adapt to whatever waffle maker you have last year I had a square one so it really depends on that this is just a general idea one egg one ounce of cheese 1 tablespoon of butter when you think you’ve put too little it’s already enough because it’s gonna grow because it’s again that’s what it does and now you are the tiny bit of cheese on top as well so let it crisp on top as well and now you close it and despite what you’re gonna think it’s not gonna be ready until it stops steaming which we actually saw when last year I did the almond butter waffles which if you actually want proper sweet those were chocolate chip waffles as well like a spawned Rhea that’s actually the recipe you want to go for I think in this case that the waffle maker is just a vehicle to make anything look more bready or what we’re used to think as a sandwich kind of bread or a waffle in this case despite the fact that there is absolutely no kind of flour and days so ultimately yes if you’re wondering is gonna be a geek it is but because it’s AG it’s fine I’ll admit it smells better with the mozzarella with the cheddar which makes me wonder well again it was seasoning it at least cuz I Kelowna I’m not used to have egg alone even when I scramble them I have them with salt and salted butter and and pepper so when I first did the first try based on just what kita okey does which is cheese and just the beaten egg that was a big plan I do appreciate the immense potential of these and the fact that you again give me the woeful shape makes you more inclined to believe it’s some kind of that stuff that we don’t talk about which is bright in the key the world so I appreciate that it answers to a visual need but at the end of the day in fact obscene key talk you use it in everything and it’s truly fascinating you can also make em in batches and then just eat them up under degree for two minutes it’s really impressive what the versatility of disease of sinner do with slightly bacon don’t see them there which is what tempted me the most of be honest and again knowing how we make fat head and fat head can be made even sweeter if you just don’t and so 10 savory spices values the mozzarella so using the mozzarella it’s easy to make fat head that can also get sweet which also means that in this case if you use the mozzarella cheese you can easily then make it sweet as well it’s still steaming so it’s still cooking do not be deluded when you think that no maybe come on there’s too much smoke there’s too much steam I need to open it you don’t you need to wait for the steam to be over it means that at that point is critical I know I know the temptation I’m there with you I think this thing is hot it in aviation the way that egg raises makes me think that baking powder was an invention to make us buy more stuff because eggs naturally race good girl girl oh my creature my little waffle no stop do not be tempted by finishing the batter the agar just fill it until it’s not even quite properly filled because otherwise you’re gonna be spillage like in this case and it’s gonna be a mess and you don’t want that you’re better than me that’s the price that I pay for not being a total blogger and not aiming to be all the food that we make we eventually eat so it cannot be styled with like motor oil to make it more shiny or ricotta stuff so they might not look the prettiest but they won’t taste the tastiest okay are you sure like I trust you girl see what does she know that I don’t know now we very carefully reclose these and hope that it doesn’t attack us anymore with the steam sparked technically again ingredients and these are indeed waffles that look like angles tada I do question though the fact that in in Quito Aki’s pictures and histograms they looked more kept together so if you have a secret okey that I haven’t quite unlocked you’re more than welcome to let me know and I will try this again I absolutely adore the potential and in my personal experience so far what would probably help even more the egg beaten would be to add something like Parmesan to it I have a feeling the parmesan would do something for the seasoning but also for the fact that it has this sort of consistency of flour in some things so when you cook with savory things if you want farmers and it tends to give it a more cakey effect so personal on my side I would try dad or even I’d be like a teaspoon of coconut flour see what happens there but again this is the original recipe by Keith
