Keto: Bread and butter pickles, Snack


hello everybody um this is kind of a multi-purpose video today so those of you maybe you’re like me and I I miss bread and butter pickles and you know there’s just something about that flavor but if you ever notice if you go look at the back of bread and butter pickles it’s like I don’t know there’s over like 5 to 10 grams of sugar in it and it’s like 20 or 15 calories for like one ounce so you get like 5 pickle chips or like whatever it was 25 30 50 calories I can’t remember but I feel like that’s just so high compared to like these for 1 ounce here it’s like 5 calories so it’s like 10 more calories per serving which is quite a bit when it’s all just coming from sugar and I thought what can I do to make bread and butter pickles well stevia just add stevia to it so it’s all in your preference but all I do is I have one regular jar and then I have another one when I just mark the different tops and I am out now and I just forget to share some of these things with you guys this is like my easy volleyball tip that like I need more sodium I typically run low in sodium so i IE pickles to get my sodium intake so just pour it into your brine and I think I normally do about free but you can add as many as you want I used to just add it to the individual pickle and I’m like why am I doing this when I can just add it to the jar and then it’s sweetening all of it and then I’m not just dumping like part of a packet like a section of a pickle so I’m gonna start out with 3 you can do more or less to your liking it’s just whatever you prefer ooh getting cute all over and then I’m gonna show you a little bit of an extra tip – or a snack okay so that’s three things of stevia more or less if you want up to you you can put it on the individual pickle if you don’t want to put it in your whole jar whatever you prefer but now you have bread-and-butter pickles eazy-e that was so simple right we’re just kind of mixing it in I guess you guys can’t see that I just stirred it kind of in there I’m just using a bit of a knife just to kind of move it around okay now that’ll work okay so jar of pickles you have your bread and butter pickles you have your regular pickles whatever you want now for a snack this is great for kids when you’re on the go or for just quick at work and you can make it lower calorie you can make it higher calories so you want him so you guys can see this just snap like a pause or a photo thing if you want to actually see that better but with this what I did is so mine for two ounces at 60 calories I just went ahead with 30 ounces which averages out to be about two slices of ham I’m not really hungry but I have my cousin’s birthday party in a little bit and we’re gonna be going to go eat in a little while so that’s why I’m thinking I better eat a snack now so I’m not feeling overwhelmed and extremely hungry for dinner but then I’m also using Challenger cream cheese I hope you guys can see that okay so for 1 ounce 100 calories 2 carbs I just decided to go with a half an ounce I don’t need that much cream cheese it’s just a little bit of ham so here’s about what half of an ounce looks like that’s quite a bit of cream cheese and then you can use as pickles as you wants Oh one ounce I know I’m not gonna measure the pickles I really don’t care if I’m a little high in pickles it’s about one carb per pickle probably um but I don’t worry about those things that much if you guys follow my channel you know that so I’m probably gonna take a pickle with each and I just spread the cream cheese on it with the ham and I just roll it up and I eat it or I cut it up and eat it that’s really about as complicated is this snack yet sometimes I just like to eat the cream cheese and the ham and then eat the pickles it can be whatever you want it to be but it’s a really good easy healthy snack and I hope you guys like this video and it’s a nice little keto low carb low calorie snack
