I lost 20lbs in 31 days on the Keto Diet |Amber Sharniece


hey guys welcome back to my channel my name is Amber Shar knees and I’m so glad that you guys are here today because I have some wonderful news that I’d like to share as you can tell by the title I lost 20 pounds in only 31 days and I want to tell you guys exactly how I did it I am going to insert some pictures in here please don’t judge these pictures okay because I didn’t have to post them but I do want to post them to give you guys a living motivation and also to have some motivation for myself so if you’re interested and I would like to know how I lost 20 pounds and 31 days continue watching so that’s pretty much start from the beginning on why I wanted to lose weight so pretty much I have been doing this little yo-yo thing back and forth where I would lose some weight gained some weight and it just would not stay put I’ve been trying to lose weight for probably about 2 3 4 years now at one point I was about a hundred in 58 to 165 pounds and I really really really liked the way I looked at that point since then probably about four about three or four years since I was in that category and I managed to gain a lot of weight my highest weight was about 198 but when I I started this journey I was about 194 right and I was just tired of being sluggish my knees and joints weren’t hurting because I was carrying around so much weight so I decided to go ahead and get rid of it for one thing for my health and of course because I I just want to be fine as wine not saying that I already wasn’t fine its wine but you can always get a little better okay let’s go ahead and move on to what I did to lose this weight and my personal goals I set for myself at the time so July 1st is when I started my weight loss journey prior to July 1st like I said I was pretty much fed up with the way that I was at and I wanted to get a little bit healthier I wanted to get a little bit smaller so I researched different types of diets or exercise plans and routines to do and I came across one that I saw in the past maybe about a year or two ago which was called the keto diet I did see the diet about one or two years ago and I was a little bit scared cuz I did see other people’s journeys at that time there was not a lot of information out there about the keto diet other than a few videos that I saw online and at that point I just thought well maybe this would not be the best thing for me so I decided to do other things which of course did not help me to lose any weight so on July 1st of this year I started the keto diet on that date I was 194 pounds and I pretty much stuck with the keto diet all July which is 31 days and by I believe August 2nd is when I weighed in at 174 so I went from 194 to 174 in just 31 days and it’s just absolutely amazing it’s changed my life I’ve had so many people I know it sounds so extra it’s changed my life but it really has I’ve had so many people told me that I look great now that I’ve lost weight and all the other stuff even when you can’t see it and other people are starting to notice that it makes you feel better and it makes you want to grind a little bit harder for you’re on a particular journey with the keto diet basically it is a very low carb and no sugar diet so this means you can’t have breads pastas sodas all this stuff that we normally would drink that has sugar or normally ether has sugar and carbohydrates in we cannot eat that on the keto diet so mainly I eat good fats which are like fatty vegetables and meats I eat lots of protein typically I eat maybe you know some chicken or steak with some vegetables or something on the side basically anything that does not have carbs and I thought this was going to be SuperDuper hard for me to do which it really isn’t it’s basically what you would normally eat just scratch out the carbs say for instance if you made baked chicken and green beans or rice and and all this stuff basically just take out the rice and if you had some corn bread check out the cornbread and eat everything else I also paired with my Kido dieting which I think helped a whole lot I paired intermittent fasting you eat throughout a certain time of the day so of course when you’re sleeping your body is fasting you’re burning calories but you also want to carry that on to the day so that your body can burn calories faster and help you burn fat so basically I normally my typical day they dive I maybe eat from 12 until 8 o’clock but in actuality I probably would eat around 12 o’clock and I’ll stop eating around 5 o’clock and it’s not that okay I got to force myself to stop eating because I don’t need to eat anymore I’m literally not hungry after I’ve eaten my last meal so it’s just what’s the point I also drink lots of water I drink about 7 to 8 bottles of water a day and no I’m not gonna say on the weekends cause girl I don’t really drink water too much of the weekends but throughout the week day I drink about 7 to 8 bottles of water and I took the 20 ounce bottle so I can get more than 100 ounces of water into my system so that’s pretty much what I did I did the keto diet no no called the low carb was about 20 grams of carbs a day I did the keto diet and I did the intermittent fasting at the same time I probably started at intermittent fasting this I didn’t start the second week that I started the keo diet and the weight just it just dropped now in this video I’m going to insert a before picture and also one in a certain after picture so that you guys can see a little bit where the 20 pounds came from because they’re kind of like you know melt it off a little bit no I you know I feel like I did something a little bit but honestly guys if you are disciplined enough this diet is so friggin easy that’s only if you discipline done if you’re not disciplined you’re gonna slip up now I can say if you guys want to know more about the keto diet itself and intermittent fasting I can do separate videos on exactly how to get started and how to do that but this video is just telling you guys what I did in order to lose those 20 pounds and if you guys want more detailed information I’ll be so glad to share that information with you another thing about the keto diet is working out now I personally for my own pleasure and I’d also wanted to have an another boost besides the intermittent fasting I did workout however the workouts that I did were very very easy basically I after I dropped my daughter off to school in the morning I’d go to the park for an hour I go to the park for an hour and I’d jog and I’d walk literally about 4 days a week and it also helped me to drop those 20 pounds you don’t have to do any strenuous exercises you don’t have to do anything crazy but at some type of physical activity in there even though you do not need I’m going to say this again you do not need any exercise to lose weight on the keto diet however every person everybody is different I decided to go ahead and pair since have a physical exercise in there as well and that it worked I was still able to lose my 20 pounds so I do plan on to say on my keto diet for a while the keto diet is not something that you want to do and lose your weight and then be done with it and go back to your regular lifestyle because just think about it you’re just doing the same thing that you did before it’s just gonna cause you to gain more weight I will be incorporating these particular eating habits into my lifestyle I want to keep my low-carb thing going on like eat my zero sugar thing going on if I possibly can I’m not gonna be on the keto diet forever I know that much but I do know that for the majority of how I live my life I’m probably going to stick to this just so that I can continue to be at a content size and it’s not like unhappy with eating the things that I eat because I pretty much eat what I would normally eat just without the bridge just take the bread off take the pasta out take the the right side take the potatoes out you know and then just to let you guys know I do get a little cheat sheet every now and then when I’m cooking dinner for my family I got to taste the food to see if it tastes right so boom there we go right there our next goal for myself is I’m going to continue the keto diet again and I do want to lose about another 15 to 20 pounds to get to my point where I would like to be now if this is something that you want to do please please please please please please please talk to your doctor first because yes you’re gonna go through the keto flute and that’s basically where you feel like you don’t die I’m just playing the keto flu is basically where you feel a little bit sick because your body has completely just stopped those karma stop those sugars you only have it for baby up maybe a day and you can get rid of it easily if you replace the electrolytes that your body is losing that’s basically all that it is so you can either drink water that has much you like to in it you can take electrolytes supplements or you can drink bone broth I’ll get more into that if you guys actually want to see another video based upon what the keto diet is what I do I can also do the
