HOW TO USE CARB MANAGER|| What are Keto Macros|| EASY SNACK idea

I’m sure you’ve all heard that the key to macros are completely different than the standard American diet in this video I’m going to show you how they break down and how to use a carb manager to track your macros so let’s get right into the video [Music] so for keto macros you have to equal 100 so for our keto macros we’re gonna have 75% fat 20% protein and 5% carbohydrates that’s how our macros are going to break down so macros are the biggest nutrients that come out of everything you eat so it breaks down into a fat of protein or carbohydrate so for energy most people on a traditional diet get their energy from carbohydrates from the glucose for the keto diet we want your glucose levels to fall and for your liver to produce ketones which will produce energy so when you first set up my carb manager it’s gonna default to pedo which is 525 70 and that’s the month macronutrients for this specific diet there are plenty of different diets out there there’s moderate and carb and moderate fat there’s balanced diets there’s the bodybuilding there’s high carb low fat so specifically this diet is gonna be five twenty five seventy and app will default back to keto whenever you are first setting it up so leave it on there and let’s get go so we’re gonna start by adding food to your day with a little plus symbol right there so I am going to pull up a few different things for you so I’m gonna search for some eggs and notice it’s gonna give you a grade if it’s a banana or something we’re not allowed to have it will tell you the grade is an F so be on the lookout for that so I’m gonna search for coconut oil and when I pull up the coconut oil you’re gonna see three different columns here so make sure you pay attention to that when you’re inputting how much you’ve had I would suggest getting some measuring spoons some cups or a scale to measure your meat because you are going to have to put the accurate amount into your carb manager after you eat it so I’m going to search for bacon and if you notice when I pull up the bacon it’s gonna show you a whole bunch of different options I chose to put in see one to two slices of bacon so you’re gonna want to make sure you adjust that properly a lot of people have issues with putting in the correct portions so I’m going to do another example I’m gonna look up ground beef so for me doing keto it’s really easy just to fry up some ground beef and have it for taco salads just basically I can add some sugar for you barbecue sauce maybe some cheese very easy to have on hand and prepped so a little bit of advice there there’s a whole bunch of different beefs you can see when you pull that up but we’re just gonna use ground beef and I chose four ounces which is about the correct serving so you’re gonna want to watch the ounces very carefully so you don’t get discouraged about adding too much and going over your macros so now we’re gonna see a breakdown of what we have eight for the day it’s gonna show us how much fat we be in and how much we have left and you can change those by clicking the actual wording and it will show you either and you’ve had this much and you have this much left or just how much you have left so that’s up to you and your preference of how you like to see your carb manager so if you go into the other page right here the nutrients page is gonna give you a nutrition totals so it’s gonna show you your breakdown of sugar alcohols net carbs fiber etc so you’re also going to have an option to add in your water so you can just click every time you’ve had a glass of water very very important to be drinking water when you’re on the keto diet to make sure you’re well hydrated so make sure you drink your water guys there’s also an option to add your steps which we just passed and there’s a barcode scanner so if you want to enable that you can just scan your packages and you don’t have to type in everything so that’s a good thing to utilize also you can add in your exercise so you can add in your weightlifting or your cardio the weights are a little harder because you have to add in each exercise but say for cardio we did 45 minutes of treadmill or whatever you did you’re gonna type in hmmm it’s gonna show you and then you can change the minutes there there’s also an option in the settings to either subtract calories when you’ve worked out or not subtract calories when you work out so that’s up to you also a graph that will start to show you how much weight you have lost and it’s nice to visually see that there is a premium option to buy I haven’t used that guys but I know a lot of people have used it and liked it you can go into account settings and right here is where you’re gonna change most of your preferences and there is the deduct calories when I exercise option so you can leave that on or take that off it’s definitely up to you and whoever is helping you or if they your trainer wants you to take away calories are not when you’re done working out so in the community button and friends and family you can invite somebody who’s also using the app with their email and they can accept you and you guys can see each other’s Diaries and logs and that’s very helpful so you can get ideas of what they’re eating and they can keep you accountable also guys so I’m going to show you one more thing before I leave but if you haven’t already please subscribe to my channel give me a thumbs up leave a comment let me know how you’re liking everything and I really appreciate you all so for one side of my mail per container I did some strawberries about I think it’s two strawberries cut up with some heavy cream month fruit and a little bit of cinnamon I have some cashews on the side and this was a very delicious snack [Music] and y’all do it but of
