HOW I LOST 10.8 LBS ON THE KETO 5 DAY EGG FAST / RESULTS AND REVIEW


hey friends it’s Deborah welcome back to the channel so before we begin I wanted to start off by saying that today March 20th is my 6-month ketover sory guys six months can you believe that well I can’t it has gone by so fast I am absolutely loving Kido I think you know every day for everything pree Kido I was waking up every morning miserable disgusted uncomfortable in my own skin um headaches every day every day I had headaches aches and pains just going up the stairs going for long walks I didn’t even want to think about it and now I rarely ever get headaches if I get headaches it’s because my electrolytes are low no aches and pains because aI don’t have that extra weight on me but keto is anti-inflammatory and I definitely stay away from like all those bad oil soybean oils and all that that are inflammatory what else I love to exercise again I hurt my back so I was out of the gym for a little bit but I’m back in the gym slowly working my way back up um I’m going for long walks jogging a little bit on my walk so that’s big guys I mean I still have a lot more weight to lose um as of today I am down 62 pounds 62 pounds guys so I’m pretty proud of myself and I just want to say if anybody is watching this and you’re thinking about starting don’t wait for the perfect day the perfect time just start just start I started on a Thursday I did my research and I woke up one day and I was just so disgusted I started I started with just eliminating all the carbs you know like the brides and the pastas and stuff um I did a Walmart grocery online pick up order so I would have cute food and the rest is history guys you learn there’s so much I know there’s so much in the beginning you feel overwhelmed but I promise you it’s so easy it seems complicated in the beginning macros and all kinds of new words and you know melt at all and melt all dextran and what in the world I promise you it’s not that hard and I promise you it’s totally worth it so I wanted to start off the video by saying that I also want to say if you’re new here welcome I would love for you to subscribe please give me a thumbs up if you definitely want to see more keto updates um if you definitely want to see my face more in front of the camera but what this video is about I really wanted to talk to you about my five-day egg fast I had mentioned that I was gonna review the 5-day egg fast and share with you because I really didn’t have much of a grocery haul last week and I definitely didn’t have a meal plan because I did do the 5-day egg fast starting March 11th through the 15th with a two-day transition so let me just grab my iPad here and look at my Instagram because I documented it on my Instagram and it’s saved in my highlights in case anybody wants to start the egg fast you could see the meal plan that I followed and the meals that I made and you know how much water I drink and stuff that’s what I’m gonna tell you today and if you want to reference any pictures or anything you can always follow me on Instagram all my information will be linked down below I have two Instagram accounts of one for my home decor account and then obviously the one for my Kido account so basically these are the kind of like the rules that I was following for the egg fast your 5-day egg fast so you one eat six to ten eggs per day 6 tablespoons of healthy fats 6 ounces of cheese max max any keto approved condiments is fine coffee tea sweeteners you know your erythritol monk fruits stevia those are fine make sure you drink your water everyday all your water make sure you get in your electrolytes I also wanted to say that I do intermittent fasting I my body just started fasting on its own months ago so that’s just how I am I intermittent fast Monday through Friday I don’t typically fast on the weekends and I did throughout my fast I did take my collagen peptides and my MCT oil throughout my egg fast okay so those are basically the rules that I need to follow for this egg fast so we’re gonna go ahead and start off with day 1 day 1 was a success I kept the first day very very simple my thoughts are I’m going to need to get creative midweek so I might as well keep it simple the first I might as well keep it simple for the first day so first of all I had my first meal at 1 o’clock while I was making my first meal I did snack on string cheese you are allowed to snacks a day and they are string cheese so I had one string cheese while I was making my meal and then what I did was I made a simple 3 egg egg salad and then 2 slices of cheese and I crisped them up in the microwave like a cracker like a cheese cracker and I just ate the egg salad with that like a dip and then for dinner I did fry up 3 eggs in butter and topped it off with one ounce of cheese cheddar cheese then I also took one hard-boiled egg sliced it in half and then fried it in butter and ate that see I had 118 ounces of water I did have a cup of green tea in the morning and a second cup of green tea in the afternoon with stevia with my MCT oil and my collagen peptides and that’s it that’s it my first date I lost 2 point 6 pounds ok then on my egg fast day 2 my first meal of the day was a glow I made a lazy man’s a home if you watch my Instagram stories you know why it’s lazy all I did was what up all the ingredients I was too lazy to bring out my big KitchenAid so the cream cheese didn’t all mix in well so I did lazy hen egg loaf I had two and a half slices a glow for me guys keeps me very very very full then I did have one snack of string cheese well as making my dinner my dinner was two fried eggs in two cheese shells and then one ounce cream cheese in each shell I had 130 ounces of water 1 cup of tea in the afternoon with my collagen peptides my MCT oil 16 ounces of water with electrolytes that’s it and I did lose 2 pounds on day 2 day 3 I got a little creative here so for my first meal I did make keto egg cloud bread so I took one of the pieces and I cut it in half which is they’re very very thin and I made an egg salad salad an egg salad sandwich I had made another three eggs simple egg salad and when I say simple I mean I put I like spicy so I did cayenne pepper black pepper salt and mayonnaise that’s it for dinner I made two two puffs egg clouds you bake them in the oven they look like two egg yolks on a cloud but it’s really the egg whites like all fluffed up almost like a meringue I had 128 ounces of water 16.9 ounces of water with electrolytes and 8 ounces of sparkling water 1 cup of tea with MCT oil in collagen and I did lose one point 6 pounds so as of day 3 I was down 6.2 pounds total so that brings us into day 4 day 4 I did a 20-hour fast I broke it with some egg loaf again I made a new one I made it the proper way I had 3 big slices of egg a globe so it was more than three eggs in there it was probably closer to four um and then for my syrup I just used that lame kanto syrup and I didn’t like it by itself but one of the people in my egg fast groups chat groups on Instagram they said that they mix the syrup and they warm it up with some butter oh my gosh I made a world of difference and then I just put in a little bit of cinnamon in there so it was so delicious I definitely will be doing that again then for dinner I had three hard-boiled eggs cuz I wasn’t that hungry but I knew I had to get my eggs in um two tablespoons of mayo on the side like a dip and then I sprinkled some everything but the bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s on top of the Mayo and then all I did was slice up the eggs in half and just like dip them in the mayonnaise like a dip and then I had one ounce of cheddar cheese cut up into little cubes and then I had 128 ounces of water no snacks 1 cup of lemon loaf tea with my MCT oil my collagen peptides and 16.9 ounces of water with electrolytes so that is its I lost another two bounds bringing my total loss to 8 pounds by day for now ate fast a day 5 was different than the other days I did a 20-hour fast and I fried up 3 eggs – cheese shows a little ricotta cheese on my eggs and water water water that’s all I had all day I had so much energy that day so much energy I didn’t have anything else I didn’t have my MCT oil I didn’t have my collagen peptides I was full I was full the entire day I just couldn’t stomach I’m supposed to have a minimum of 6 eggs and I didn’t and I was not going to force myself now that I’m an Kido I really understand what it means listen to your body before I didn’t I would save it I would but I didn’t so I’m day five I lost 2.8 pounds so that brings me to a total of ten point eight pounds which to me I think that’s great in a week ten point eight pounds so then I did get a lot of questions on Instagram so I put out a post on Instagram answering my most asked questions so what they were was did I like it how much weight did I lose how much weight did I gain back and was the egg fast worth it well did I like it I did yes I did I love eggs there might go to like if I’m hungry but I don’t have a taste for anything but I know I should eat I always turn to eggs eggs are my go-to I love eggs so for me I definitely think it’s sustainable for the five days and no I’m not sick of eggs yet how much weight did I lose I lost ten point eight pounds in the five days how much weight did I gain back so now let’s talk about my transition days so my transition days were Saturday and Sunday so basically what the transition days are is you continue to eat eggs for the two days you incorporate other proteins and you you take it easy on the carbs like not so many vegetables so that Saturday we were having a party here and we’re making homemade pizza so what I did was I fried up two eggs and butter and topped it with a little bit of mozzarella cheese because that’s what we had out because of you know making the pizzas um and then for dinner I did have six ounces of salmon a cup of Brussels sprouts and then I took one slice and I just ate the toppings the cheese and the sausage so on that day I gained point two ounces then Sunday I had breakfast I had two scrambled eggs with pancetta and then for dinner I had four ounces of rib eye steak with about half a cup of Brussels sprouts and on Sunday I lost 2.2 pounds so guys that brings me to 13 pounds loss on the five day advance with a two-day transition I just think it’s unbelievable I think if you follow those basic simple rules you’ll be very successful make sure you drink all your water that’s so important to drink all your water it’s important to get in your electrolytes and then if you’re still taking your vitamins your supplements and your MCT oil collagen peptides that’s fine but the main thing is to get the eggs in get your healthy fats in and that water boy I’m telling you that’s so important Aikido whether you’re doing an egg fest or not but so guys that is everything I don’t want to take up too much more time of time of your day I
