Healthy Low Carb Bodybuilding Pasta Recipe | GAMECHANGER!!


what is up guys welcome back to the channel today I have a recipe for you that I know you guys are going to love if you’ve watched any of my old recipe videos you know at the end of them I always ask for your suggestions for recipes you’d like to see and one of the ones I got more so than any other was a healthy low-carb pasta and I looked into it guys I don’t believe such a thing exists but I think we have the best alternative to that right here I found the special type of noodles which I’m going to show you guys once we get into the video that are extremely low carb low fat low in calories and they make a perfect pasta replacement especially if you’re hankering for a big ol bowl of noodles but you don’t want all these added cards so if you guys are ready to get this recipe video underway and I promise you won’t be disappointed and as always I’m here to cook for you let’s do [Music] now let’s go over all the ingredients you’re going to need this is actually a very short list there’s only four ingredients needed for this recipe loads of protein low carbohydrate I’m telling you you guys are going to love it so first thing you’re going to need obviously a protein source we’re using 96 for lean ground beef this is only going to have four point five grams of fat per serving and 24 grams of protein per serving four servings in the entire container so we’re going to have a hundred grams of protein in here and about 18 grams of fat but still getting that good flavor from ground beef if you’re trying to eliminate that you can use 99% lean ground turkey or something all nose lines but for this video we’re trying to make like a spaghetti so we decided to go some lean ground beef versions be mindful if you’re doing this that if you buy full fat ground beef there’s so many more calories and fat in that I don’t really advise that if you can at least buy ninety ten lean ground beef then that’s probably your best bet and then most importantly and what makes this recipe is these shirataki noodles right here first seen on Steve cooks YouTube channel he makes pasta dishes with these when he’s cutting wait for competitions and says it’s absolutely amazing so I’ve never personally had it but with a whopping 3 grams of carbs per for out serving I think this is going to be a game-changer pretty easy to repair as well which we will get into that but I’m very excited to try these guys too as always all the taste test and flavor review at the end of the video and we decided to go with low-sodium marinara sauce now you can do traditional pasta sauce but a lot of it has added sugar that we don’t necessarily want our diet so at least this way we’re getting 100% natural sugars that are in this 5 grams per serving we use in about a cup of this for our pasta that way we’ll get some authentic pasta flavor we’re also not adding too many calories or anything like that and then finally to add some cheese we could throw a regular cheese in there but once again we’re trying to put our best foot forward there is can you use some classic parmesan and Romano cheese add some flavor with minimal calories only 1.5 grams of fat and 2 grams of protein per serving on this so I’m telling you when this whole thing gets together we have a nice recipe here so let’s get started so the most time-consuming part of this recipe is going to be cooking the lean ground beef so what we’re going to do is go ahead and get that started before we drain our noodles office or a bowl of the nose we have the water already boiling over there in case you see any smoke we’re trying to make this as efficient as possible we open our ground beef here I’m literally going to take this I got some extra virgin olive oil spray here we’re going to go ahead in our pan with it’s probably enough smoke a tiny bit there we go and we’ll place the ground beef right in there the goal is to brown this and get it ready for the pasta so as far as these need to go actually let me wash my hands real quick there we go don’t want to spread any germs now I’m not going to season this really heavily we’re just going to use some taco seasoning here there’s a few grams of carbs in this but I think it adds a ton of flavor especially they do these leaner ground beefs so I put a little bit on here obviously you can season your beef however you want it you don’t even have to necessarily season it but I kind of like to just get in here and do it but ultimate assam Tinka my and sea salt on top of it as well and then after we do that only two seasonings I’m using I’ll go in get it kind of separated here that way it’ll not only cook faster but give this nice little meat chunks in our pasta alright now that we got all this cooking we’re going to let it sit for a little bit and do its thing now we’re gonna move on to the pasta so these noodles actually come in a packet there’s already liquid in them so we need to strain them off we’re gonna go ahead this is the only knife I have cook it as a big boy we’ll go to Jason or something like that go in there open whoop and we’re just going to drain into our strainer here all of these noodles we have four packs in total and final packet open up in here is actually quite a bit of pasta all this pasta only has 80 calories in it not a bad way to have pasta this is all strained now let’s go ahead and put in the pan now we have our water already boiling shirataki noodles let me take two to three minutes to actually cook in your boiling water so we’re going to add those in look they’re set a little timer for three minutes push that down in here that way these things can boil and then what I like to do with my pasta is at a tiny bit of Himalayan pink sea salt now you might ask why Himalayan pink sea salt for traditional table salt traditional tables all the time a lot of the minerals sapped out of it through the manufacturing process rights Himalayan pink sea salt contains all the essential minerals and things like that you really want from your soul so if you can find this stuff I’m telling you game-changer shout out to the subscriber they got me onto this and sent me it is for free appreciate you the ground beeps almost done but the pasta is definitely done in about three minutes we’re gonna go ahead and string this off over here dump it in here be careful not to spill it I have some tragic accident ruining by falling stuff make sure we get all the water off of this now we’re going to take it and move it over here to a big mixing bowl Dorinda put all of our pasta in look at guys all that pasta only 80 calories hopefully this is good that way I should start making this more in the future and the ground beef is actually done as well so we’ll go ahead and place it in our mixing bowl as well now we’re going to take our pasta sauce we’re going to start we’re going to see how much this we need I thought a couple work but I feel like this is yielded so much more pasta than I thought so we might need more than a cup to make this killed so go ahead we’ll see how this looks what do you think more sauce or not maybe a little more little more alright let’s do another cup we’re two cups of sauce looks a little better yep alright awesome and then what we’re going to do now is go ahead and stir this up so we mix this all up it’s smelling good looking good we’re going to take our Parmesan cheese and put a little bit on here as well you can add this later you know about add it all if you don’t want to but adds a nice good flavor this source throw that on look at that all right guys let’s go ahead and I’m going to do a taste test and grants going to do a taste test so we’re gonna put this all someplace and get to it so we got it on a plate guys check this out does that not look absolutely incredible it looks just like regular spaghetti guys except like I said the pasta alternative and the lean of ground beef like this entire plate here is only nine hundred and seventy calories that’s crazy for all of this pasta most of that being protein a little bit of fat and I think we’re still under like or two grams of carbs well see when I go over the macros but it is time for a taste test get in here get a nice bite one a little bit of make sure of everything I always say you want a little beef little noodles woo so I take this big one grant ha ha all right you guys ready three two one I’m gonna be completely honest with you guys if someone handed me this plate inside hey it’s just spaghetti I made I would not think that these weren’t regular noodles there may be a tiny bit more chewy but for the most part they are a perfect substitute how did I not release things existence all right now oh my gosh okay given that this is basically just pasta without all the calories this recipe definitely gets the double seal of approval the coveted envied worldwide double sealed approval so awesome alright I’m gonna take one more bite get in here amazing dire stops grants turn whoa look at that a second your shirt haha alright Big Dawg let’s see how this is I’m excited look at that huh mmm here we go here we go you got kind of down to one go I mean honest opinion cuz I’m pretty easy guys please mmm that’s good right it is a little more chewy well yeah yeah there’s no way of saying crazy right wow that’s mmm that’s what I like to hear man that’s what you’re to hear first guys gran approves everybody brews double seal I can’t go eating that guy’s holy crap game changer recipe writer this recipe is a game changer so let me go over the backers with you guys in this entire recipe there was only 900 drop sauce on my face maybe a little bit that’s a good house is the authenticity we have 970 calories in this entire recipe so look at that massive plate of pasta there 970 calories we factored literally 2 cups of that pasta in there 4 packets of the noodles a whole pound of ground beef still 970 calories the whole thing so let’s say this was probably good to feed maybe three to four people right 250 calories a person that is nothing and I’m telling you it tastes just like pasta and then if you look at the macros here in the entire recipe there is 39 grams of fat but some of that’s coming from the ground beef we get a little bit in our sauce because I have added extra virgin olive oil in it there’s a hundred and twelve grams of protein and only 52 grams of carbs with a whopping 24 grams of fiber so our net carbs are 28 that is crazy guys for pasta that is crazy I don’t know how I did not know this recipe existed until now but heck these noodles are going to be a staple now we can do healthy chicken alfredo next we can do healthy linguine whatever we want to do do you know that you know what probably half of it and then put the other bit of it into meal prep containers and save it so that way I can see if it’s any good remark away later or anything like that but I’m not going to be just fine so I’m pretty pleased with how ended up being an e like organic section and a little pro tip here they are refrigerated so you’re not going to find them in a basic aisle it’s going to be a refrigerated section so then look out for that in a war our anchor over carries them you’ll have to double-check with your grocery store to see if they do but shit-talking noodles got them telling you gave change your double seal of approval
