Fat Head Pizza 2.0 | Keto Recipe | Keto Cris


[Music] hey everyone Quito Chris here back again with another video so it’s been a while since I’ve done a recipe video I had had an epiphany so I was trying to make fat head dough and we were out of cream cheese so go to my fridges and I found ricotta so I used the ricotta cheese as a replacement to the cream cheese and it comes out so good you have to try this the bread is fluffier well you know what I’m gonna stop talking you’re gonna check it out right now I’m going to create this together we are making this together you and I both we are working together to make this pizza and this we’re going to need for fat head dough 2.0 baking powder almond flour 1 egg ricotta cheese mozzarella cheese for seasoning I use garlic powder and pestis so if you don’t want to meet your own pesto Plaxico they have a great pesto I basically take about a tablespoon of that maybe a little bit less depending on how much I use and how much I make and throw it in my dough roll it up with it is fantastic as for the toppings I’m going to use bacon pepperoni and reserve some ricotta cheese on top the club and we’re going to also use raus raus homemade marinara sauce now this sauce is fantastic for keto if you don’t know about it check it out it has only two cards ugly yeah as well dietary fiber in three total cards the only two net carbs that are not really good for you good and that’s for about a half cup so two cards and a half cups next fantastic I’ll even over to use amuse that much let’s go ahead and get started with this pizza first thing I like to do before I get started making the dough first turn your oven to about 400 missed it and also I like to start heating up my test iron skillet all right we’re going to use 1 cup of mozzarella and about 2 tablespoons of ricotta this recipe is going to make a personal sized pizza so if you want a bigger one times it by three except for one I used to it alright shove that into the microwave for about a minute a minute and a half and give it a nice turn you’re going to want it to liquefy you want it to melt together but you don’t want the cheese to burn so be careful depending on your microwave it may be less so check it every 30 seconds just make sure that it’s melted thoroughly once your cheese looks oh you like so it’s not all strength then it is basically ready next we’re going to throw in the rest of the dry ingredients so first we’re to get 1/2 teaspoon 3/4 of baking powder half a cup of almond flour and finish that off by cracking in one egg let’s give the mixture a nice nice mixed mixture mix mixture mix sounds redundant I know can’t find another word for it if you have another word or a better word please leave it in the comments below oh there we go destiny comes in with the cool word she said I should have just said stirred give the mixture a nice stir next you can see it’s turning into a nice dough like substance we’re to go ahead and toss in the seasoning a lot of people don’t do this the dough in itself should be good and ready but I like to give it a little punch so I toss in a good bit of pesto a little George maybe I have it not a good fit there we go that’s pretty good I say that’s about a little less than half a teaspoon and some garlic I also like to dust it with garlic on top I like my garlic I mean if it’s Italian it has to taste garlicky right and your hands are about to get dirty at this point we’re going to go ahead and create the dough but first let me go ahead and set up my pizza pan here get your pan and this part is important you need parchment paper because this is indeed cheese that we’re cooking with so once your ingredients are nice and mixed together look how messy I forgot to wet my hands if you wet your hands the dough doesn’t really stick to you as much so that’s a nice little tip oh man it’s starting to spread out like a dome – all right let’s go ahead and lay it to rest your final resting places here on the slate all know that’s a lie next it’s going to be in my belly alright so you’re going to push it out nicely like so and make a nice little pizza make it into it keep the shape as you can see my pan over here is nice and hot and take the fork and we’re going to poke some holes in that to hold keep it from bubbling up and help the cook I don’t know the holes work I do this was regular pizza too and it works at this point your oven should be nice and ready if not then wait a little bit toss it in the oven for about 10 minutes take a look you want the top of the crust to look kind of golden brown so if you if you see it starting to get golden brown on top then it’s good to put the tops on top so let’s go ahead and do that now all right I think the pin is ready let’s go ahead and throw that bacon down as you guys can see I got the petite bacon but you know what Meghan’s bacon it’s not cut perfectly so they sold the cheaper I’m on a budget so I don’t know if you guys are out there you get better quality bacon but I’m good with this as long as you cook it right it tastes all the same here are the ingredients I’m gonna be using and I believe the piece the dough is ready up look at that can you even see that in the camera oh that is beautiful that is beautiful look at that oh my gosh oh man it feels wonderful I’m excited just smelling the base is bread this is the one thing that tricks me into believing that I am eating bread so if you love your breads if you love Italian food and you want to try the keto diet it is completely possible completely so staying this up for you guys trust me I did I did not just burn myself oh yes I did I burned myself yourself because I’m so excited for this visa so the way I set up my pizza I do it almost Chicago style I do not put the sauce on the bread I usually turn off with pepperoni the reasoning behind it is sometimes it’s also make the bread a little soggy and you don’t want to talk you soggy bread and that dough tends to get a little bit more soggy than regular dough so it’s a good idea to go ahead and throw it on last well not last I like to put it on after the topping but before the cheese all right got my bacon I’m gonna just crisp it up right on top like that yeah I make my bacon nice and crispy go ahead and put a little bit of cheese before I put on the sauce just Ted just Ted just to hold everything together you know a good idea I’m gonna have to get I wanna have to get destiny to open this for me she she has the the prego strength she’s pregnant so the babies can open it for me she loosened it for me look at that and you can use half a cup so it’s a half a cup of this for serving I usually use a little bit less like maybe maybe like four four teaspoons is that a half a cup it might be spread your sauce out just like so then we’re going to throw on the rest of the cheese can never have enough cheese right and top it off with a couple dollop of ricotta first light beautiful beautiful beautiful all right and that’s all she wrote we’re to go ahead and I get this I don’t get burned tossed this right back into the oven for I would say another ten minutes or so you basically want the cheese nice and melted the toppings nice and melted you be the judge okay I think it’s ready oh man look at that look at that okay we need to close up we need to check that out guys that is beautiful beautiful I’m going to cut it and we’re going to try it together so grab your piece at home because I know you guys are making this with me right grab your piece at home and let’s try this together I finally have a piece of cutter I figure I make enough of these mice we’ll get one okay so now this tip if you’re impatient like I am instead of baking it for another 10 to 15 minutes or whatever you can go ahead and set your oven to broil for like two to five minutes and it should be ready because really all you’re doing is finishing off the topping I’m going to take the camera down for one foot second I just want to take you on this adventure with me so first of all look at this look at this bread look how fluffy it looks on the inside I’ve already tried this once and this pizza comes out so good then this is Royale you have a piping hot so I’m actually just trying to stall because I don’t want to burn my mouth if I keep the steam coming off of it but this right here this is fantastic you all need to try this all right I’m glad guys umm just put the camera back up and it’s been about five minutes I think that’s enough right – cool I’m ready to try this this is my face Wow my god this is a breakfast guarantee you try our colleagues instead cream cheese try it just try it at least once it tastes way better this is my personal opinion try to make my recipe try it out yourself oh my god now the double sale guys says I’m still die eating as you
