Definitive Test – Does Keto//Kreme Break an Intermittent Fast | Sue Hall


today we are going to look at Tito cream to find out does this break your Kido fast or not hey everyone so today we are testing a product to find out if in fact this does or does not break a keto fast when you’re fasting for weight loss and to increase your ketone levels and decrease your blood glucose numbers so there’s a lot of misinformation out there about intermittent fasting and what does or doesn’t break the fast so you definitely going to want to check out my other video here on my youtube channel what actually breaks a fast where I’m going to break down each kind of fast and it’s going to explain to you what does or does not break that fast so today we are going to look at pedo cream to find out does this break your keto fast or not okay so in this experiment with keto cream I have been fasted for 16 hours I stopped eating last night at 7 p.m. today it is now 11 a.m. I’m making my coffee and we’re going to test out whether or not this actually will elicit a glucose spike a blood sugar spike or what happens to my ketones within the two hours after drinking my coffee with keto cream um so what I did was I took a base reading of my ketone levels and my glucose levels [Music] you can see that my ketone levels were at a 0.5 my glucose was at an 89 that puts me in a GK I index of 9.8 9 if you don’t know what a GK I index is I will have some information in the description of the video here so that you can learn more about that so I also gauge that because I find that number to be very helpful and very important so I took my base readings first thing and then went and made some coffee [Music] [Music] it’s been 30 minutes since I finished my coffee and let’s grab the keto mojo and figure out where we are so surprisingly 30 minutes after drinking finishing my cup of coffee with my Kido cream in it my readings stayed pretty much the same my ketones were at the point 5 and my glucose actually dropped a little bit to an 87 and that bumped my gki index to a nine point six seven not a big change in just 30 minutes oh we’re now an hour since I finished my aikido cream in my coffee it’s time to take another reading so let’s grab the Kido mojo and see what’s up [Music] [Music] I did at sixty minutes after finishing my coffee with a packet of credo cream in it and at this time when I tested my ketones again were on the rise they were at point six not a huge bump but it’s only been an hour since the last test and my glucose levels actually dipped down from 87 to 79 since my last 30-minute test so again my glucose levels are actually dropping I’m not seeing any spikes so that’s very good indicator that this is not actually breaking my keto fast my intermittent fasting my gki index actually also got down to seven point three one which is fantastic that means low level ketosis so again I’m seeing that instead of it breaking my fast it’s actually been helpful in slowly getting those ketone levels up and getting that glucose level to come down so now let’s see what happens at the two-hour mark APRA have finished my cup of coffee and my [Music] [Music] and I just did my next keto modo cast and the final result here is at the two-hour mark my ketones are now gone from a point five which was the beginning of my day today and when I drank my coffee all the way up to 0.9 so now what happened my glucose levels they actually started at the 89 and then they gradually went down to a 79 now they’re back up to an 85 at the two-hour mark not a huge change again it went down and back up but it’s still lower than when I started this morning my gki index is now at a 5.25 which means I’m in moderate ketosis two hours after drinking the cream and coffee after 16 hours of fasting I’m so again there’s not really any indication to say that if you decide to drink this while fasted that it’s gonna break your best if anything i’m seeing my glucose levels are going down my gki index is getting better and better and my keto levels have actually gone on the rise since drinking this earlier today I tested right when I made my coffee and I tested 30 minutes after I finished the cup an hour after I finished the cup and two hours after I finished the cup so again if you’re fasting for ketosis and weight loss fat loss that’s what we’re talking about here there’s different forms of fasting so make sure you check out my other video that says what actually breaks a fast because we’re gonna go over different forms of fasting because different things will come into play depending on what your fasting goals are so again if you are fasting on the keto diet and you want to have keto cream in your coffee in the morning it is not likely to break your fast you saw my keto madrone results keto frame is good Jo every morning [Applause]
