before I went to bed last night I don’t know if you guys did or did not see it and that is correct if you turn to turn every single day into a party day of bettering yourself every day then voila you just have yourself a gift so guys with that being said what I’m gonna do is I’m going to show you guys my favorite and what I think the most important keto carbs are so let’s get after it [Music] [Music] question that I get asked a lot guys is our carrot okay on keto I personally I’m gonna say no I know a lot of other people might say yes but if we’re talking real keto guys real it in a real state of ketosis I would probably say not because they do have a medium they have a decently high level and I also have a decently high glycemic index [Music] I feel like I’m always taking you guys like a daily field trip I love it number one keto carb recommended sauerkraut I’ve learned it I’ve talked about it a lot okay there’s a lot behind it sauerkraut is the number one all right the number two is going to be kale and or spinach and the reason that I’m saying kale and spinach guys because if you you can have a ton of it it can fill you up when it’s such a low glycemic index it’s almost nothing so that’s why I say that spinach and kale are really really good ones to bring into play they’re amazing one guys is walnuts okay not cashews these have four carbs right there as you guys can see cashews will have probably eight nine okay so walnuts also almonds are okay and pecans and Brazil nuts over there so there’s some good carbs because properly taking those in k if you’re having the spinach and the kale and the nuts you’re getting in a lot of fat satisfying that hunger okay and not bringing in many carbs so you’re you’re getting into the the fat fuel that you essentially need on there so guys those are my those are so in my top right there that I love that I think are essential so far but I’ll show you guys some more later Oh John [Music] [Music] future [Music] number one this is meal one with a lot skin while cost sockeye salmon oh don’t do what the person next to me did a Whole Foods they ordered the Atlantic farm-raised salmon they got a lot of it don’t do that I I’m excited Collin question for you what is what is like one carb that you think is essential on the keto diet then I got a question for you after that okay one carbide essential yeah there’s zero carbs in nature that are essential for the human being really okay with proteins and fats have essential fatty acids essential amino acids you could literally never eat a gram of carbs the rest your life and you do just fine okay wanted to do carbs greens obviously you know like suet in OHS that’s like probably like the heaviest carb source that’s still natural but if you’re on keto got to careful you like have like two bites because super super carb dense but Mesa just green really greens greens nuts and seeds you’ll get some carbs out of there so you know those are the sources of nut like my favorites macadamia okay and then the thing with nuts guys if it’s not a macadamia nut Alden have to have the polyunsaturated you need to not get the roasted nuts because a lot of times the fat is actually rancid and damaged and when you put it on your body no bueno boom all right what’s your question for you okay most fun out there day what I have my answer this question but I’m curious what’s your answer what’s the number one thing that you could recommend to new people look like a weightlifting routine or strength routine because there’s something that I see that people don’t do but I want to hear what you what what you wouldn’t work out so yeah like if someone was like oh I don’t work out enough or whatever like people go on the treadmill which i think is like a waste of time for the most part like if they’re good in the gym they need to do some resistance training what’s the one thing that you would that you kind of suggest to recommend somebody to kind of like get get into the gym get some some resistance training this to me for women this week for older younger you know I would I would maybe go in with somebody who’s maybe not a little bit a little bit more experienced I would maybe plan it ahead or if you didn’t want to plan it how I think they can just go and just go with the flow because everything in the gym is basically resistance and if you yeah like that’s what I’m saying that’s basic what I just said on here is that like you know I’m gonna hop in with you and we’re just gonna go experiment whatever we don’t have anything fully planned and I think a lot of people can go into the gym thinking right out the gate they need this Arnold Schwarzenegger perfect workout day whatever like I think it’s your first time just experimenting with certain resistant training that you like you can say well I love that solid training or like oh I don’t like that and then you say okay I’m gonna stick with that so mixing tutorial you’re living a healthy fitness enjoyable resistant training result delivering workout style lifestyle well it’s still the number one thing to go with that is like obviously people go in the gym and hop on a few machines there’s still sets reps and how hard you’re going yeah oh yeah everyone I see and I see this females got ladies you are you going the gym and you kind of go through your emotions at a slow to medium pace and I think you think is you’re just kind of like in the gym doing stuff you’re getting results if you’re not struggling if you’re not grunting if you’re not sweating if you’re not pushing through reps even if it’s like the last couple reps on your set you’re not tearing the fibers you’re not getting the result of people you need to get in there even if you’re newbie get out on machine make sure like three sets of ten on your 30th or 40th rep that you’re struggling because that’s where it’s a carnal set it’s when it’s I think it was I behind the burner though or the fire or whatever is where the results are and so you get to that part where it’s burning it’s on fire you’re not you’re not you’re just used going to the most yeah I mean guys yeah some people think they’re going more they don’t really know what it’s like to go hard that’s that’s an that that’s my almost like the wish come back that’s you gotta get to that now you wanna be careful but yeah you’re careful that’s why likes them I’ve tried one macros on here or where this has got 5 5 or 13 so 27 carbs that’s not bad really and the main ingredients cashew butter so it’s pretty good ingredients well I got 2 grams of sugar that’s not bad at all yeah I had I think this rep part – what part – the pollen following what he’s getting I used to so do you like worse things in here so do you like the carbs of asparagus I don’t count greens as carbs for me so you just look at many groups as possible pretty mark yeah so but if you are counting like you know have you noticed have you noticed that eating asparagus make sure you’re in like green I don’t eat as much juice I’ve never seen that okay well I have I have yes out there with this beautiful thing what’s up dude what’s up but you got there you got some corn what you’re eating no it’s a source of energy that everybody uses in their body but I actually don’t use that I use fat dairy but that’s that is it’s an energy source there’s people who give a better description but I’m gonna give him the most simple the source of energy thoughts no sauce at all good stuff check this out guys okay looks pretty keto friendly right there cauliflower it is a very special carb source it’s a cruciferous vegetable very powerful very antioxidant full of zinger excuse me not a sink a lot of minerals and vitamins that are key I’m sweating it up it is hot but man just said and that’s gonna really amp up your workouts help your hydration all that stuff okay so again real quick before I show you the last one your optimizing your state of ketosis just because you’re in ketosis in somebody else’s in it’s in ketosis as well does not mean that they’re both in the optimal keto range or lies like they’re not they’re not in the optimal state of ketosis because because of what that’s going in their body what’s in their gut their microbiome their brand your function all it’s worth stuff guys so keto can be done on an improved level with the right carbs the last one here sauerkraut very very spicy I love it okay this is an extreme probiotic beast right here I definitely recommend this again treat your gut right treat your brain right and you’re gonna
