all right so these are the genes that I have on right now you guys these are my skinny jeans that are not so skinny anymore I don’t know if y’all can see this like saggy booty thing like I don’t know what that is and then even in the ankle area or the leg area like look at this extra I don’t know what this is like was that so big that this I don’t ever remember having this so yeah I still wear these because I don’t know cheap I don’t know if y’all can see the little extra room right here either let me see so I have like all this extra room in my pants as well and then my waist y’all gonna see this but like how much extra room I had and these were my skinny jeans you guys like there were days where these were like too tight and I would like rush home to take these off and now like look look how big these are can you see that look you can see like the extra like booty pocket like I don’t know yes so does keto work I would say so B’s when my skinny jeans you guys and look they’re they’re too big this is a shirt too that normally would fit like this they can kind of really see how small my waist is but look how this shirt is look how big it is now so does keto work yes it does hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I’m doing a video about just my Aikido results just the keto update pretty much what I’ve been doing what’s been working what’s not been working and just my progress so far so I haven’t posted here in a while and part of that is because like I’ve been kind of I have fallen off the bandwagon like once or twice and I kind of felt like I don’t know I kind of felt like maybe I shouldn’t come share because I wasn’t like straight keto but I just decided to come on here and share anyway because you guys I have been getting like amazing amazing amazing results so first of all I started this journey at 194 pounds I don’t even know how alone up to that way but that she’s how much I weighed when I started and I will leave a link to my first video so that y’all can kind of see some of the things that happen the first like two to four weeks of me being kita before I tell y’all how much weight I’ve lost or my current weight let me just tell you some of the things that I have experienced so first of all if you’re new to like what keto is or like the ketogenic diet pretty much it is a diet where you take out like breads sugars and things like that it is a high fat moderate protein low carbohydrate that and it pretty much defies what we have learned about food so really you know going into this when I heard high fat low carb I was like this is not even this isn’t gonna work and you know what you guys it has been working I originally started this just as an experiment just to see like what would happen if it would work and it has been working amazing so let’s get into some of the symptoms that I have experienced so first of all in my last video I talked about constipation and you guys I cleared that up on my own I did drink a lot of water I’ve increased my water intake but what I realized was that like just my diet I needed more grains I needed more fruits and so I did that I just listened to my body and as soon as I upped my fruits and veggies even though in the ketogenic diet you’re not really supposed to have a lot of fruits um as soon as I upped my fruit intake I just noticed that the constipation left also the bulletproof coffee did help and then drinking a lot of water I mean I had really been drinking a lot of water anyway but yeah that really helped secondly the headaches like once I fell off the bandwagon and I wasn’t eating so strict keto anymore my headaches did come back and the headaches that I suffer with or used to suffer with they would like start in the back of my head and kind of wrap around like this part of my head so those came back like slowly but surely it took about four days before I noticed the headaches and it’s kind of funny because any time I would fall off the bandwagon the symptoms that I was experiencing what kind of forced me to get back on the bandwagon and as soon as I started back eating keto like those symptoms would leave so it’s kind of weird something else is my eyesight has changed this is super weird to me you guys so much so that I had to actually buy some new glasses which just came in anything new but yeah I had to get some new glasses because my prescription changed I got these videos you guys I’ll look at these later but anyway I’m really glad that I got my new glasses because oh my gosh like the my vision has changed completely like I don’t really need my glasses but I’m so used to wearing them that I put them on but I feel like these glasses are too strong and that could also be contributing to the headaches so yeah my eyesight has gotten better so another thing is that I was strict keto and then I stopped eating so strict and I did gain weight I gained about 5 pounds so I ballooned I started at 1:9 194 and then I dropped down to like 175 172 depending on or like 175 depending on like the day or the time of day that I weigh myself and then I ballooned back up to like 179 178 and then once I started back eating like right I got back down to 171 and that is I got down to 171 like eating not strict like I was eating keto but not strictly keto like not strict keto everyday you know I’m saying so I say that to say that like for some people they feel like it’s all or nothing like I’m either gonna eat keto or I’m not gonna eat hero and you don’t have to live your life like that I feel like balance is really really really important so if you’re eating keto and you’re starting to not feel so good it’s okay to take a break I know people are gonna be like no you’ll be sick I mean planet be smart about it but listen to your body I mean there might be something that you need to eat that your body needs that you are not eating because you’re afraid to fall off of ketosis to nursing Remsen so and that was me in the beginning I was afraid to eat too many fruits eat too many vegetables and then you know my stomach was all messed up I was all stopped up and it just wasn’t good as a matter of fact I also noticed that some things that people okay so I’m gonna say this be careful about like following people on social media or if someone says like this is a keto friendly you know recipe try this be careful about that because some things are not that great for you and some things will knock you off of ketosis but in that same sense I will say that what knocks one person out of he ptosis may not knock you out it just really depends on your body your weight like all of that type of stuff because I know my neighbor across the street we are both keto and she can eat certain things that will knock her off with ketosis and I can eat something similar or the same thing and it will not knock me off so just be cognizant of that just know that what works for one person may not work for you just because you know my neighbor is strict hito you know I kind of fell off the bandwagon got back on the bandwagon and I still lost really really good weight like you guys when I say like none of my clothes are fitting I know my clothes offend even this shirt that I have on right now like it looked kind of big but this shirt used to be fitted like this okay so two other symptoms that I wanted to talk to you all about are improved mood and improve mental clarity and I’m talking about when I said mental clarity I’m talking about like brain fog before going keto I started having this brain fog and I knew I knew that it was tied into my diet because whenever I eat like clean or vegan or something like that like it goes away but yeah I I said all that to say like I’ve had this improved mental clarity I’m able to like really I don’t know she’s like a crisp I can’t really explain it you guys it’s just mental clarity like no brain fog I don’t have that anymore I’m not a doctor I don’t know specifically I have taken a few anatomy and physiology classes in college but I feel like the mental clarity has something to do with the fact that you’re the healthy fence that you’re eating and the brain I feel like the brain is like a fatty type organ and I just feel like I don’t know it has something to do with that that is my hypothesis you guys so anyway um the mental clarity is there and also like the mood stability just being in a jovial mood I just I don’t know like even like that time of the month you know I would normally have like that one day where I would kind of be Moody I don’t have that like is so like bizarre and crazy of me like how just eating this way has improved my mood and my mental clarity and yeah so those are just some of the symptoms that I’ve had some of the reactions to this diet that I’ve had and then of course my weight as of right now is 171 which is amazing because when my husband met me I was 172 and I only know that because active duty military I had to weigh in and that is how much I weighed I weighed 172 so um and of course we started dating soon thereafter so yeah it’s just amazing that you know I’ve not even really been doing a whole whole lot of exercise and I’ve lost this weight I have gone to the sauna that’s a whole nother thing like incorporating the sauna with this and instrumented fasting I have been doing that that’s something that I forgot to mention so with the instruments and fasting I actually use an app called zero the app basically helps you keep track of your fasting and so I’ve been doing that and you know is really really weird is that I had been fasting and it was just like totally unintentional I didn’t even realize I was doing it and then for some reason when I started using the app like banned that I knew consciously that I was trying too fast for a certain amount of time it kind of started becoming difficult I don’t know like it’s kind of weird like I mean I feel like if you just set your eating schedule at a certain time like you know at 6 o’clock you’re gonna stop eating and then you know you’re gonna sleep until like six that right there is 12 hours so I feel like a lot of the instrumented fasting is stepping away from the food at a certain time because you know that once you go to bed you know you’re gonna sleep at least six to eight hours and then you’re gonna wake up and get ready so that’ll probably be another hour so if you are trying to reach the 12 hour threshold or even further I would say start with pushing back on the food earlier that’s just been working for me it makes it less difficult because a lot of that fasting time I’m sleep but I have been doing a lot of intermittent fasting with this whole keto situation and it’s been working marvelously and then I do attribute going to the sauna with keeping me in ketosis I don’t know what it is you guys I don’t know like even when I paint on the sticks on my ketosis sticks or whatever I just noticed that I have more ketones when I get out of the sauna it’s it’s really really weird I don’t know but and the sauna itself is a detox so I just feel really good when I leave out of there by the time I leave out of there like I feel like I’ve randomized it’s kind of weird but I’ve only just been sitting there sometimes when I’m in a sauna though I do like some ab workouts I might do some sit-ups and crunches like I just do some things just to pass the time and so that may have contributed to my waist getting smaller as well but yeah and also I know I may get this question I do not use any type of like sweat suits or sweat bands or like the little things that you wrap around your waist I don’t use those in the sauna I just go in there and sit I normally stay 30 minutes so and the sauna is not any thing new for me I’ve always liked the sauna and so I didn’t start using the sauna just when I went kita I’ve always used it and I’ve always stayed in there for about 30 minutes and I do take a lot of water with me so I’ll drink water while I’m in the sauna and if I run out of water I will leave this on a go refill at a water fountain and go back into this on it so I’m going to be very very clear about that and I do want to say as a disclaimer like if this is your first time doing the sauna or whatever make sure that you you know understand your body and understand how long you should be in there and maybe even clear what your doctor I don’t know like I don’t want y’all to look at my video and think like this is what she should be doing and then something happened so as a disclaimer I like this is just the things that have worked for me things that I’ve done and I’ve just had like phenomenal results so yeah I think that is it you guys um I don’t know again and I said this in my first video and again I’ll leave that video a link to it in the top somewhere and in the description box and I’ll probably create a playlist and start to really document my food as well yes let me talk about food so as far as food I basically eat the same things like I I basically eat what is convenient and I’m very very busy I have four kids I have a active-duty husband who’s always doing stuff so I stay busy I don’t have time to be in the kitchen cooking I do a lot of batch cooking for as far as like keto stuff and maybe I’ll make a whole separate video about that but basically in the morning I have keto coffee or a bulletproof coffee something about that fills me up I’ll have like bacon or sausage and eggs sometimes I’ll scramble some spinach with those eggs I also like will batch cook like either beef or turkey patties to make hamburgers without the buns and then I’ll use like bacon left over for that as well I’ve done I’ve even done you guys and I don’t know like can’t believe I’m selling all this I don’t know where they’re not this is kitto friendly or not but i have eaten this thing and it has never knocked me off of ketosis and that is chick-fil-a grilled chicken nuggets with the buffalo sauce so if I’m adding about and I need to eat out I will reach for something like that I’ll get something like that so let’s see what else I have eaten just basically meat and a veggie it’s pretty much what I’ve eaten I don’t eat sugar I don’t have like honey in my tea if I do tea which I have started doing with the weather cooling down I’ve done T with erythritol so I do that and what else I’ve been using Atkin shakes for my creamer I’ll use like maybe 1/4 or maybe 1/3 of the bottle I don’t know I think I’ll do a whole separate food video about like what I’ve been eating but I basically eat the same things and it makes my life super like just amazing just I don’t know like I don’t have to be in the kitchen like that and I’ve even like eaten out with my husband on date nights and I’ve eaten keto and it’s just fine so yeah I think that is it you guys I am going to try to do a video on like the things that I eat and some of my keto favorites and then I’ll come
